Usually Hornsby Delivery Centre are amazing - every time there was a letter or parcel in doubt, they'd give me a call to confirm. Both couriers and posties that serve my address are typically amazing too. However, lately this has all gone downhill - I've had multiple important letters go missing, and I still haven't seen them. No mail addressed to me correctly is being delivered for months. Couriers and posties are dropping both small and large parcels at our door without getting a signature or even pressing the doorbell, many times they've left large, heavy boxes in front of a screen door preventing us from easily getting out of the house in an emergency, let alone collect the boxes. I've had to complain multiple times to Australia Post via their website and phone call where communication is understaffed and takes forever. It's even worse because I thought we had excellent service before, as recently as 2021.

Just writing in to thank David Thomas who works at the Hornsby facility which I mistook to be the Kuringai distribution centre. He helped me locate my package that was stuck at the Kuringai Facility. He did this by searching through their system and then contacting his colleague Benji at the Kuringai facility to locate the parcel. The hold up was due to a Telstra glitch.

Australia posts delivery service is nothing but appalling. Every time we have a delivery coming we stay home and wait for it. They do not ring the door bell EVER! They always leave a card for collection in a completely different suburb. The complaints department do nothing at all. But will tell you they will investigate to try and help you and et back to you. Meanwhile you go and collect it to then receive an email saying we’ve noticed you e collected it and consider the case now closed. No wonder you justify price increases due to the decline in people using your services. Judging by the other review and the laid back working atmosphere I can now understand why they just do not care. You pay money for a service of delivery and then spend your own time completing the delivery yourself. Money well spent I’d say. If I could give negative star ratings it would surpass -5.
