I ordered a chestnut birthday cake for my son's birthday in January. However, when we ate the cake last night and found the cake tasted slightly sour. It was from the chestnut puree and we think that the cake is spoiled. My son ate a quarter of cake before we found out. He got slightly food poisoning and got diarrheas. I returned the cake to Breadtop in Hornsby Westfield the next day. The salesperson didn't refund to me and she said she needed to communicate with the production line and find out the issue. It's a very bad experiences and memories for me and my son.

I have bought a lot of cakes here and they are lovely. However today I was totally disgusted with the service. I offered a 5 dollar note which was refused because there was a tiny piece torn off on one corner of the note.the number on the note was not affected.

The assistant refused to accept it for payment as she said *it wont go in the machine*. That is NOT service and there is no excuse. The bank is nearby, she could have exchanged it later. I walked out without buying anything.

I was a regular here as the coffee is very good, unfortunately Testra in the seating area is none existing. Even the Westfield wifi is rubbish and who dosnt like to be on your phone these days especially when sitting on your own. So asked the owner if I could join there wifi and the answer? NO. well sorry to say goodbye to you.

Yuuum breadtop! It really is as good as I remember. I had the coconut bun, it was so soft, so light, and so buttery. You really can't get a more decadent bakery treat. It tasted of luxury. For $3.50 my tastebuds forgot about the cost of living crisis. 10/10 recommend

Last year, my wife left her wallet in the shop and did not realized that until one of the friendly staff contacted me. Me and my wife visit this store almost every weekend and she like the cake set best as they are not super sweet. The coffee tastes far much better than it was 3-5 years ago.

Customer service could be improved. I arrived at about 3pm and proper birthday cakes were almost sold out, so I bought a small cheese cake together with a bag of bread. I asked if I could have a candle set, the staff said only the cakes in one certain area could have a free candle set. I asked if I could buy one set, the staff said no... Had to go to woolies to buy those stuff. Could be more flexible...

We bought a $5.90 bread so that my mum can have a seat and to relax but when I came back, my mom is no longer inside and when I find her she was teary and told me that the staff of breadtop kicked her out because she was still sitting there after she finished her bread.

They have good over priced bread but their staff is very rude.

I recently had a disappointing experience with this establishment's customer service. I called to place an order for a cake, but unfortunately, I encountered rudeness from the representative on the phone. Not only did they lack basic courtesy, but they also cut off the line abruptly, leaving me feeling frustrated and unheard.
