Just walked into Birdwood on my way to the op shop next door and had always heard of the interesting sound of cigar box guitars and had seen an ad recently for Birdbox. Absolutely astonished by how fun this guitar is to play and how helpful Adam was!

Anyone who has bought a CBG from Adam knows how well they are made. I have bought two. Since my last review I have purchased 1 guitars, and 2 cbg , an amp and a custom cbg ukulele. The build quality has only gone from excellent to superb. Service is outstanding. I can not recommend Birdwood Guitars highly enough.

My beautiful LAG semi acoustic got dropped and had a huge gash like crack between the headstock and the back of the neck. My devastation was profound so I rang Adam for help. He had a battle brushed, dynamic 20yr old Aria semi acoustic which I bought for a gig this week and I left him my LAG to see what he could do. He operated so well that you can’t see where she was cracked and she plays even more beautifully than she did (I think maybe I missed her). Thanks Adam and Lloyd for your expertise, compassion and help! Stef?

A not-so-hidden gem in Katoomba I'm glad I found. Great guitars, Adam knows his stuff incredibly well & a nice as lk ection of 2nd hand vinyl. The guitar 'spa' is recommended for both acoustic & electrics
