Oh my goodness! What an amazing place. The Fig and maple bacon pizza is to die for! Never tasted a pizza sooooo good. Wow! The atmosphere is special too. Cosy and welcoming and the owners Robbie & Neil do a wonderful job of making each guest feel special. Also enjoyed their Writers Gin, hot toddy gin & Tumba Gold Beer over a few nights as we enjoyed ourselves so much we had to come back for more.

We had an amazing experience at Ladbroken. My husband had the BBQ meat lovers and I had the Maple bacon and fig. It was the best pizza I have ever had, the Tumba Gold beer was fantastic and so was the Hipster (pins like) and lemonade cocktail was sooo goooood.

We sat near the cosy outdoor fire place and spent some time just enjoying the space.

We have been staying at the Caravan Park, and came to lunch at Ladbroken Brewhouse.
The service was fabulous, in that being able to talk to the Head Brewer (I call him) and one of the owners was a real treat for us.
Fortunately for us, maybe not for them, it was relatively quiet with only 3 tables occupied, which gave us a great chance to have a chat. Robin (co owner) was a wonderful source of information about the town and their journey to where they are currently at.
We did 2 tasting paddles, my wife did the Gin which had the their Dry, Writers and Blood-orange, and I did the Vodka, Lemon-cello and Hazelnut liquor.
A great tutorial on how to taste and experience the different flavours available was given.
The Pizzas are fantastic. 7 sorts available, we can recommend the Vegitarian and the Maple Bacon. I’ll let you experience that one.
An easy 21/2 hours spent … and came away with a bottle of their Vodka and the Bood-orange Gin.
Will be back with friends.

A very special mothers day.
We stumbled across this hidden gem while looking for a good place for lunch and a coffee. We were warmly welcomed by Niel and Robbie with baby and dog in toe. Very tasty coffees and Ruben sandwiches for lunch. Followed by some second gin tasting.
Can't recommend this distillery enough, very tastefully decorated, and well worth a visit.
We will definitely be back!

Review scoring: 3 as expected based on price, quality and reputation, ie as expected. 4 better than expected and 2 lower quality than expected. 5 absolutely outstanding in all respects against expectations; food quality and presentation, staff, decor and atmosphere.

This venue is superb in every aspect. The owners, Neil & Robbie, are amazing friendly and hospitable hosts. The venue is so unexpectedly great, out of the way, an outside garden / service area and a wonderfully eclectic inside sales area next to the in sight distillery. Neil is a fabulous story teller with personal stories of the ingredients that go in the gin making process, the farm, the picking, the builder with ripe green figs and the resultant creation. A truely wonderfully unexpected experience. Please visit on your travels

On my rating this venue generally would get a 4 as much better than expected, but not wishing to spoil the perfect 5……. 🤣. And frankly it is probably so deserving.

Ladbroken Distilling Co. is a must-visit! Their Gin is great with complex, smooth flavours that truly impress. The pizzas are just as amazing—perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The friendly staff and warm atmosphere make the experience even better.

Loved this local spot! We visited for the weekend and glad we made time to stop for a gin tasting. Cool range of flavours to try, worth the experience! Lovely family business. No need to book for a tasting. They have other events as well so look out on their socials

I'd been before and thought it was a good. Yesterday, after encouraging friends to come, I was so disappointed. A debacle from booking to when we left. It was very embarrassing. There's some fabulous hospitality in this region, sadly, this venue isn't one of them that shines. The 2 stars are for the pretty presention and the decent pizza, albeit served 2 hrs late. As a prior restaurant owner, I'm totally up on how it rolls. 5 customers who won't be recommending or returning. I'm sure there'll be an acid reply. It's kinda the vibe you get. A shame, has great potential. Se la vie
