The chunky beef pie was generous and the pastry was flakey. Had a pork sausage roll was delicious and had the same quality pastry. Could not go past the passionfruit vanilla slice - yum yum yum!

Staying the night on our way to Sydney and popped in for a look, left with two lovely pastries!! Would highly recommend the apple crumple pastry and the raspberry one! They were delish!

The most expensive bakery iv ever been too. Their bread is nice, cakes are 7/10
But are thieves, $17.00 for 6 Hot Cross buns is a rip off. Just shows that they don't really care for the locals, especially in our current economic climate.
This is nothing but greed, $8.50 for a tiny custard tart.
They also have a shop in Murrumbateman, not getting any of my money again.

Great bakery, friendly staff, and quality food.

Early 2024 update, Bakery has reduced in score since they relocated to Murrumbateman and ambiguously closing for many many weeks. Reduced range, no more salads and the coffee machine was broken (or no coffee) the last few times I've visited.
Sweets and bread is still nice enough, I still return but I no longer drive out of my way like I used to.

Stopped here for a quick brunch on our way south on the Hume Highway. The pastrami and sauerkraut roll and pies were definitely a highlight. We grabbed a spectacular looking oat, barley and malt loaf to go as well 😋

What a warm, welcoming and delicious experience this bakery was. The young blonde lady who took my order was patient, kind and friendly. We got a brookie, steak pie, lamb pie, sausage roll (apparently the best my daughter has ever had) and 2 different danishes and everything was amazing, zero room for improvement. The bakery itself was clean and cozy. Definitely worth detouring.

Was very disappointed in the pies we got there. All lacked seasoning and flavour. The chicken in the pie was so dry and the gravy looked like it hadn't been cooked down properly. Wanted to give them a second chance as we didn't have the best first experience with them when they first opened, unfortunately it hasn't gotten any better.
