After enduring months of delivery delays, the 6 1T bags of 'worm castings' that I was advised by Wormtech would be able to be added directly to my commercial gardens finally arrived. Something was very wrong with this product. After transferring this product onto my gardens, it immediately displayed hydrophobic issues. Water failed to penetrate the surface, rather turning the surface into a sticky slime. Even worse, when it dried it turned my gardens into completely useless growing environments with 'soils'' now harder than concrete. A total commercial disaster setting my business back at least 12 months while I spend a lot of time any money getting this product out of my commercial garden systems. Wormtech advised including photographic evidence but not interested in engaging at this stage. Very expensive mistake, very disappointing.

Purchase a 1/2kg (2000 worm) bag of compost worms from Worm Tech. By far the best bag of worms I have purchased. They were plentiful in the bag, the medium was moist and they looked very healthy. Had previously bought boxes from Bunnings but will never go back after seeing the quality of Worm Tech's worms. Good to support an Australian owned business too.

Pretty disappointed with this company.
I ordered a full kit on the 24th of January 2018, emailed to ask about delivery time as it was a birthday present.
Was told it would arrive by the 6th of February.
Its now the 17th of February and the tracking number says its due to be delivered on the 24th of February.
There was no correspondence in regards to it being late.

Overall - I wouldn't recommend buying through this company.

Note. We had to email again, as our order arrived late & without the worms.

I would completely understand why the worms wouldn't be sent due to weather.
Just not sure why the farm itself would not be sent due to hot weather 😀.

Please be aware that WA quarantine costs are $47 a packet of worms .. making them the most expensive worms ever!
Yes, I did miss the information about quarantine on the bottom of the order page ... my bad!
I did not expect a rude response to my email regarding the situation.
My suggestion would be to buy elsewhere!

Wormtech supplies products which are half the quality of what is available in stores at twice the price. Save yourself the bother of waiting for the kit and just go to bunnings, you' ll have a substantially better worm farm with a chunk of money left over.
