Appeared to be maggots in my Sunrice from supermarket. Within used by date. Contacted Sunrice who, despite promise, failed to get back to me. Initially offered me a couple of $ for a replacement even though I was the one who had gone to the shops to purchase , returned home with maggots, had to dispose of of product, ruined my dinner, felt sick, and went to the trouble of going through some long-winded admin process to advise Sunrice of the issue. Seems its all my fault. After a second more assertive contact they displayed "customer care" by trying bribing me with a lousy gift card. A very poor corporate response to the issue. I guess this must be commonplace for them. I reject the card - but wont buy their rice again - wont risk it. This is my experience - I suggest you are careful too.
