This place is amazing and incredible, these people truley apreciate the world and its beauty. it is an amazing way of viewing nature that has been loved and cherished by jess and allans hands, creating an amazing sensation for the eyes, what a treat! my child also loved it. Saying that she had never seen anything like it in her life! we both loved it and we hope that this place will stay alive for future generations to come and see the level of dedication and love that they have towards these creatures

Absolutely amazing how much work has gone into this place! Definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area. I've grew up around the Great Barrier reef and I haven't seen half of what's here! Google says temporarily closed, but the place is open certain days in the school holidays/ cooler months April-September. Cash only.

You just don't get to see collections of this size and detail anymore.

What an amazing collection of shells, butterflies, beetles and much more. A lot of love and dedication has been put into these displays. You need at least an hour to look at everything. Well worth the $5 per adult and $1 per child. Just take cash as they have no EFTPOS. They also have a few items for sale.

Amazing display of rocks, stones, butterflies, bugs, giant crabs and shells. Our host was very knowledgeable and friendly. $5.00 entry. Street parking.

Wow, the amount of work that has gone into this display is amazing! The guide (son-in-law of the collector) was a font of knowledge and after introducing the collection allows you to take your own time to look closer. We spent an hour and really only glanced at everything. It really is a wonder how much is here: butterflies, insects, shells, ammonites, snake specimens, Queensland wood and stone samples, egg carvings etc, etc. Please note, they only take cash; something I've not used for months with COVID!
