Are we wrapt that we found Cody & his business Black Mountain Contracting? You bet we are!
We were faced with unexpected and costly earthworks to prepare our block for our new home. We are not experienced in such matters.
Cody was so helpful with ideas and suggestions. He is proficient, patient and professional, not to mention being amazingly well priced. He really knows how to operate an excavator.
Nothing was too much trouble for him.
We only ever asked him for a ball-park figure as we had the impression that he was 100% honest & direct.
In the end he did so much more than we had all expected. And at a price that exceeded our expectations.
Over 500 cubic metres of soil excavated and taken off-site. Four different levels cut and filled with precision. Soil types from loamy topsoil to quartz rock....
And all this in the week before Xmas!
We absolutely have no hesitation recommending Cody and Black Mountain Contracting. It's a no-brainer. Don't waste your time looking around. You will do hard to find better.
We will certainly be using him again before our house is finished.

Leading up to Christmas is an impossible time to get anyone out. Even though Cody was flat out he managed to squeeze me in. Friendly and easy to work with, as with most other customers on here we are already planning on using him for more work.

BMC installed retaining walls, drainage pipes, spread soil, recycled asphalt (for drive), cleared vegetation, trenched an irrigation system and accommodated on-the-fly changes. Cody is reliable, amenable and his clear skill on the diggers makes for a trouble-free experience; so easy to recommend him.

Cody is a highly skilled machinery operator, he had no hesitation to assist the Tree Lopping & Plumbing Crews onsite which required the services of his equipment. Perfect transformation, highly recommended, highly skilled operator, very knowledgeable with a lot of great ideas and advice. Cody
