Great company to deal with, fantastic website, with a well-designed step by step ordering process and instruction guide. Especially useful when you are building the fence yourself. Great communication. Delivery driver was awesome, he put the load exactly where we wanted it. Highly recommend.

Would not recommend these chaps at all. Thought I was dealing with professionals. Instead they installed a gate but left a gap in between the post and the neighbors retaining wall. They said the retaining wall was at a slant and there is nothing they can do about it. I asked for suggestions but they were more interested in getting paid rather than completing works to high standard. I paid 3k for a job that doesn't look right.

EDIT: After their response: Also the posts they installed are not set in a straight line meaning the gate does not close properly and looks odd. I am pretty sure this is does not meet a reasonable standard of construction. See 3rd picture.

And note this is not a large company rather many smaller operators under a franchise.

Ordered colorbond fencing from oxworks.

He delivered it with in 2 working days,
Was friendly
And communicate was fantastic

We recently ordered materials for a Colorbond fence from Oxworks, and the experience was horrendous.
Timeline of Issues:

Initial Order: Quote request was made on October 3, 2024, and received a quote the next day. Payment was completed on October 4, with confirmation screenshot sent immediately.
Delivery Discussion: During our phone call on the same day, it was specified that delivery was needed by October 15.
Change in Timeline: On October 8, We were emailed that the custom gate styles would take 5-7 business days to manufacture. We were assured that if the gates weren't ready, they would split the order to ensure the rest of the materials were delivered on the requested date.

Despite this assurance, the following week turned into a series of errors:

October 14: We called to confirm delivery eta for the following day and was told that the majority of the order was ready but the gate styles were still in transit. we were advised that ETA times would be sent via text in the morning.
October 15: Before 10 AM, Called again, only to be told that the order was not going out for delivery and that the deliveries for the day had already been completed. The response received was "oh, I was waiting on information for the gate styles and didn't split the order"

Despite my insistence on the urgency, we received no satisfactory resolution, they simply stated that nothing could be done and that the delivery would be rescheduled for the next morning.

October 16: Called the Crestmead store after not receiving an ETA to be told - "I dunno, maybe after lunch" After further calls, I learned that the delivery truck finally arrived at 12pm, but the driver informed us that he could have delivered our materials much earlier in the day on his previous run. We were left frustrated and confused.
Gate Styles: By October 17, the gate styles were still reported as “in transit.” I expressed my concerns about the delay, which should not take three days within the same area. I was finally able to collect them on October 18.

Quality of Products: Upon installation, it was clear that the gate styles were rushed. The welding quality was subpar, and significant touch-up paint was needed to fix manufacturing and paining issues.

Overall, we are absolutely horrified with the unacceptable customer service and product quality we received. The entire experience has negatively impacted our small business, costing us significantly and leading us to cancel all future orders with Oxworks. We’ve since turned to Our Town Fencing, who has provided excellent service, and we are recommending the switch to all our fellow contractors to avoid them having the same pitfalls.
