Exceptional Service & Fast Delivery

Chris always kindly greets us upon arrival, his extensive knowledge and thoughtfulness is impeccable. We love all our carefully selected pieces of furniture, which blend so perfectly in our home. The delivery guys are very careful and friendly. We regularly return back to Helensvale James Lane, when searching for additional pieces of furniture and homewares, because we’re extremely satisfied with the great service, abundance of quality products and awesome prices. It’s always a pleasure, to catch up with Chris and the team, plus sharing a few laughs together, it’s definitely a bonus, thanks guys.

Searched a number of retailers online to find an ottoman for our walk in robe with no success and then by chance we walked into the helensvale store and found the perfect ottoman with storage which was a bonus and in the material and colour we wanted. So it’s safe to say we are happy with our purchase and the assistance we received from the staff.

Had such a great experience with James Lane Helensvale! James lane has amazing furniture and such reasonable prices. This store in particular is beautiful. All of the staff are so friendly. Linda has looked after me and is the sweetest! She is so kind, helpful, understanding and has incredible customer service! She deserves all of the recognition!

$130 delivery fee on top of a $2000 cabinet:

here’s your box, the easiest way to unpack it is to stand up and slide out the 130kg tv unit and then dispose of the box yourself.

What if I was old and frail? People pay their hard earned money. It’s like you don’t want to sell items and the service provided is poor. Companies need to realise, it’s a symbiotic relation, without us no money, without you no product. Be better

And don’t pin it on the delivery partner.

Answer to reply: Thanks for pointing out the obvious, I was not offered assembly and honestly at $130 it should be included. I just won’t support in future, cheers.

Beyond disappointed with the customer service/ communication with this store and will not be shopping through them again! We paid $130 shipping for our brand new couch to arrive damaged (fraying in the seams all over the couch) and had two other items not available at the time, but now that we are receiving a new couch/ replacement, that will be getting delivered to our house they are wanting us to pay an additional $130 AGAIN if we want to add our two other pieces onto the delivery (as they are now available to be collected. You don’t pay per item you essentially pay for the delivery to your house. So disappointing from such a big brand, i’ve constantly had to call and email multiple times to get answers and updates on our order. The male worker is beyond rude over the phone and in store. Freedom delivers and unboxes all your items not extra charge will definitely be sticking with them and spreading the word.

James Lane Helensvale (homeworld) I would give this store 0 stars if it were an option. We ordered a king bed frame to be delivered to our house and it was never explained to us when purchasing the product that the frame does not come apart into pieces. As such, once the bed finally arrived for delivery it would not fit up our stairs and so we had to send it back. When we went into the store to explain the situation to the manager Craig, he was arrogant and rude and blamed us for not asking if the bed came apart. He was unhelpful and unwilling to fix the problem. We also paid an additional fee for “white glove service” to have our couch assembled for us however the delivery drivers were so rough that we ended up assembling it ourselves. The drivers asked us to sign a waiver stating that if they damages our house and walls by “jamming” the boxes through that it was not their fault. They were swearing and yelling in front of our daughter the entire time. Absolutely disgusted by James Lane and their service, especially considering the amount of money that we paid.

James Lane Helensvale, has some of the worst staff and customer service I have ever received. Friday the 14th of March I was served by the most unpleasant staff member (an older guy, who wasn’t wearing a name badge conveniently). As soon as we started speaking he had this attitude of he didn’t care and I was wasting his time, even to the point that I was mid sentence and he answered the phone and didn’t even apologise. Not only that, any questions I had he answered in a way he wanted to get rid of me and very blunt with no willingness to try and help.

Especially when I wasn’t just there to browse and waste his time, I was there to purchase a sofa. I had already put a deposit on this sofa and only wanting to pay the remaining but he made it the most disappointing experience especially when we were so excited to get our first couch and when your spending over $2,000.
I will not be shopping there again.

I’m not sure if he was a manager/ owner or just casual but either way he needs to look for another job because customer service is not for him.

This lounge is not my first purchase from James Lane but it has sure been the worst. From rude staff who didn't treat me like an actual customer until they saw my purchase history, forgetting to take the deposit off the invoice, to calling customer service to get the refund processed, to then 2 days later having someone else from customer service call to ask for my credit card details again, to these broken, cracked and unfinished feet for a $2.5k lounge.
"we are committed to making world-class design affordable without ever compromising on quality, materials or construction" from your website, I wouldn't agree, would you?
