Very bad experience
Didn't follow da dimensions or their own plans, engineer knocked back staircase construction based as they did not weld where they should have, left bolts out which were on their own design and argued that they could not be fitted. They measured beams wrong, added posts which were not in their own drawings, installed beams which were not level and had to cut and weld destroying the galvanising.

They were then called back a second time as platform they made was out by 22mm and not level. After a number of arguments the installer made an excuse as to why this was the case and came back.

They were then called out a third time as stair stringers were different sizes and not level with one another. The installer argued the fact even though he did not put a level to the job. Only after he put laser level on another occassion was it confirmed that it was put at least 15-18 mm and that for some reason the stringers were different lengths which installer could not account for.

They were then given 2 weeks and never organised job to be completed. This is after job had gone on for 4 months and while worksite on delay cos of this business.

Only when they were told not to come.on sote and another business was going to sort matter out they then decided it was a good time to try to contact and arrange to attend. Have no faith in this company fixing anything and will be taking matter to court.

They took 90% payment upfront and a small job ended up being 15k without being completed.

Treads dont sit right on stringers and they said why don't you cut each individual tread to suit rather then them making their job square and plumb.

Would not recommend this stress and delay on anyone. Attached is engineers report knocking back work as well as issue of not being squared.

Highlander manufacturer our kitchen bench top and we were blown away with the craftsmanship. They were recommended by the joiner and the finish is excellent. Highly recommend

Gave them measurements for job and was told they'd email prices. I'm still waiting for that email. In the meantime I went up the road and found a different place which walked me through it and had the metal cut and ready after an hour. Bypass this lot and keep going west along the Boulevard for actual service.

The staff at highlander are friendly and super helpfull from quoting thru to the completion of the jobs a fantastic experiance , another great business to deal with in the south .
