I travel from Woy Woy every day.

There are heaps of buses: 50, 53, 54, 55, 57, 58, 59, 64 and 70. These will get you to Umina, Booker Bay, Pearl Beach, Gosford, Ettalong, Woy Woy Bay, Wagstaffe, and Kincumber.

The station has free WiFi, for up to an hour a day. This is really useful as I am able to work while sitting on one of the benches.

Almost all trains stop at Woy Woy, except for freight trains and regional services (Brisbane, Armidale, etc.).

There are elevators for easier access, and there are three entries. There are stairs closer to Stand E, a ramp closer to Stand A, and a ramp connected to the building across the road.

There will be the occasional eshay every now and then, but try and stay away from them, and try not to let them blow their vape smoke in your face, and you'll be fine.

There is also really beautiful scenery as the station is pretty much on the water. Go to the far end of platform 2, play some calming music, sit down, and enjoy the view.

Surrounding stations are Wondabyne and Koolewong, next "direct" Central Coast and Newcastle stations are Gosford and Hornsby.

I could go on and on but I've been told I yap too often

Great water views from the station
However when you’re sitting on the train waiting to depart you can smell the strong reek of urine coming from the bus interchange where people I guess people are just pissing against the walls and around the interchange probably late night early morning because they can’t find a toilet or couldn’t be bothered going to the station to use the toilets which are on the platforms

Wonderful views of nearby lake, great transport connections to all places on the lower Central Coast including access to Bouddi National Park, Brisbane Water National Park, etc. Large platforms and easy and accessible exits to station as a whole. Plentiful services from the Central Coast & Newcastle Line.

I travel a lot from this station and I can only recommend it. It is really easy to get there by public transport. There are plenty of parking spots. When you wait you also can just look at the display for more information which is really helpful and if you are hungry for a snack there a vending machines for snacks, drinks and even battery banks to charge your phone. There are plenty of sitting banks for you to wait and even a clean toilet nearby.

The staff are ever accommodating and helpful, and they mostly do it with a smile.
I ride a motor scooter, and they always get me up or down a ramp, on or off the train, within 90 seconds.
A lot of people treat like you're a hassle. But never the staff at Woy Woy. I love living in this town!

Trains from this railway station travel to Sydney and Newcastle. The express trains alternate with all-stops trains in both directions. Regional trains that travel to places like Brisbane and Moree do not stop here - they only stop at Gosford and Wyong to pick up passengers. Bus services to Umina, Ettalong, Pearl Beach and Patonga depart from the eastern side of Woy Woy train station. Train tickets are sold via the Opal Card machine located on the overpass above the platform. There are public toilets located on the platform.
