I have owned my bender for 10 plus years and recently ordered a new die set (50nb) to complete a job. Order came when they said with no problems.
So I setup the bender and started bending then noticed that I was bending the support bolt/sleeve that holds the die.

Next day I contacted them and explained what had happened asking if this part had been upgraded in recent years. With the answer being yes and that they would have one out to me asap. I was extremely Impressed with the service I was provided and can’t recommend this company enough.

I recently purchased a model 1 bender from Speedwerx so I could maintain and re-fabricate parts of a blown alcohol funny car. We bend in-line with ANDRA and SFI with very strict requirements in relation to reduction of size through a bend. i get less reduction on the speedwerx bender then I do on a larger bender I was using. The speedwerx bender is giving me less then 2mm (in 1 5/8 tube) reduction in tube size through the bend. The customer service, dispatch, packing, delivery and instructional resources were also fantastic. Keep up the good work.

Thoroughly unreliable and untrustworthy people. order #1924.

27th March - contacted Kari, asked about a bender and dies. no mention of availability problems, so i ordered and paid. i was told afterward it'll take up to 2 weeks to supply and send.
4th April - i email Vic to check progress, no response.
8th April - i call Coleen, i was told that Vic will return my email. he hasn't to this day.
9th April - i call Coleen again, i was told Kari would return my call in 5 minutes. no response an hour later so i call back, Kari tells me the bender is at least another 7 days away. i said i need the bender within the original stated timeframe, since that's impossible i asked to refund the bender but send the dies so i can at least organise another bender in time. Kari said no, he'd get everything to me by the end of the week.
10th April - i receive a call from Coleen at midday, saying the dies are ready but the bender won't be. now i can't promise a replacement bender in time, so the job is lost thanks in part to Kari's failed promise. i ask for a refund on both the bender and the dies. Coleen suggests there might be a fee for my refund because of their online store provider, couldn't tell me how much though. a fee not mentioned on their website, nor previously mentioned anywhere, so i refused to pay it. Coleen said she'll talk to Kari and get back to me. no response.
15th April - i call Coleen regarding the refund, i'm told they're in contact with their online store provider (for a few days?) regarding the refund and i will get a call back, if they miss me they'll leave a message. no response.
16th April - i call Kari who tells me to send bank details for the refund, they won't refund it back to the card i used. i send details within 5 minutes, and ask for a receipt of transfer as soon as they send the refund. no response.
17th April - i call Coleen, i'm told they haven't sent the refund because they're still trying to get onto their online store provider. i tell them if i don't get a transfer receipt for a refund by the next day i'm going to talk to the bank for a chargeback on my credit card.
18th April - no response. i've opened a case with my bank to try and recover the funds, clearly speedwerx have no intention to refund without being forced to.
26th April - still no response, no refund. they've kept $1300+ for a month now and counting.

the bender wasn't ready within the original stated timeframe, nor Kari's additional promised timeframe. they've suggested they're understaffed, but getting back to me earlier so i've got other options for the job takes all of 5 minutes. and a refund takes all of 5 minutes. being busy or understaffed isn't an excuse for a month of inconveniencing a customer, and holding over a grand of their money with nothing to show for it. they don't seem to care about what they're doing at all.

i've been polite through all of this, certainly not abusive or unreasonable. i'm struggling to find any reason to justify their actions, short of sheer incompetence. deal with them at your own risk.

update: 21st May - mastercard chargeback completed, still no contact from speedwerx.

Not sure what Gary is on about. I called these guys and place order on 24th June at 4pm, had the complete m1 bender package delivered in Canberra on 27th June at 12pm. Could not be happier, product is heavy duty and well built.

Bought an electric hydraulic tube bender over a year ago just finally used it full on for the last couple of weeks to build a roll cage must say what an awesome machine the bend quality is second to none.. would highly recommend speedwerx products to anyone
