Best PO in the Blue Mountains! After attempting to have a land title verification done at two other POs (Lithgow and Katoomba) it was such a relief to have the always joyous, professional and attentive Heng help me out! I don’t even live in Winmalee anymore but drove all the way down from Mount VIC as I knew the awesome staff at this post office would help me. Heng is always so nice and has a great attitude. Excellent customer service! Thank you Heng! All of the staff at Winmalee PO are fab and the town is lucky to have them.

A great local post office. While many Australia Post outlets don't have a phone number listed, you can actually ring this one and get assistance. For instance, during Covid I needed to send some packages for my business, but was in quarantine. I was able to arrange to place the items at their loading dock, then ring them so they could be lodged in a contactless way. The customer service is always great and the staff do their best to help.
One thing to note is that the mail leaves here earlier than many post offices, so if you are sending something express or just want it to move quickly, make sure you lodge it before 3pm.

Incredibly courteous. We recently moved from the city and are very pleasantly surprised by how polite and considerate the Aus post staff are up here. Our packages have always been delivered in good condition, and even when we haven’t been at home and the conditions have been wet, we’ve noticed the staff drop off the packages in a safe, dry spot by taking that extra step (quite literally).
