Our favourite go to restaurant for mainly lunch but also dinner. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. We had spent the last 20+ years eating at The Centennial unfortunately they have recently changed the chef with too many good dishes taken off the menu.
However, Apollo has a lot of great dishes including the Saganaki cheese, Split Pea dip with great pita bread ?, awesome Greek style lamb… not to mention the desserts!! Highly recommended this one

Invited by my friend who comes often for Gin & Jazz lunch.
What a beautiful place! When I arrived in was well welcomed.
The place is cozy. We had a Gin tonic on arrival so we ordered the same for few more.
The set menu was good exactly what you will expect from a good Greek restaurant. The lamb is melting in the mouth! Eating with a good Jazz band is such a great time! I took some of the food for takeaways to have more for later! The team was great! The food was tasty! And I will definitely come back.

The lamb was flavourful and not too fatty, very tender and juicy.
The octopus was a bit too charred for my taste but overall still a great dish.
The potatoes are all so crispy and super hot when it arrives.
The staff who took care of us was knowledgeable and friendly, gave us some suggestions on drinks and food since that’s our first visit, and we both love the suggested drinks.

Fantastic Greek Feast and Service

We had a great time celebrating a friend’s birthday at The Apollo. Opting for the Full Greek shared menu was perfect for our catch-up—it saved us time and featured all the right dishes with authentic flavours. I’m usually not big on shared menus, but this one really impressed me. The service was excellent, with staff being attentive without rushing us, even when we went over our booking time. Overall, a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. Highly recommend!

Apollo was very busy the Monday night we went which was great to see in these difficult times for hospitality.
Everything was great from the service to the food to the wine.
We had the $70pp set menu and there was so much food. Everything was delicious but the stars were the lamb shoulder and the potatoes. The cheese and honey was a close runner up though.
I’m looking forward to going back soon

Very good late Sunday lunch with family group of 4. Apollo is a welcoming venue with a happy buzz. Comprehensive Greek menu and quality food. We chose the Greek spread.

I have been going to Apollo for dinner for many years. Tonight I went to dine with family and the menu has changed. There was one dish in particular that was changed to seafood instead of Oxe tail. We decided not to order the fish as some family members don’t eat fish. Could I suggest that the restaurant offers the meat dish to non seafood eaters.? We ordered the new beetroot salad and were disappointed as it tasted like canned beetroot with oil over it. For the standard that Apollo has set itself it was disappointing tonight. Also the sugar snap peas were tasteless. Must say the previous menu was much nicer.

Today, we went for a birthday celebration and chose the à la carte menu. Both the food and service were exceptional, making for a truly fantastic experience. Sanaa was friendly and delivered outstanding service. Highly recommend!
