I went to a Brother retailer to purchase a Brother sewing machine accessory. While there the experience was terrible including being sworn at, yelled at and stood over. This was reported to Brother on the day and then 'lost' in their system. When I followed up I was told the complaint was never made and I must have been mistaken only for them to find it later. Brother has not been interested in finding an acceptable solution to the issue for months and is now no longer responding. The retailer still has a relationship with Brother.

MFC-L3750CDW laser printer for home usage fails to power on after 15 months of domestic use (total of 200 prints). Brother declines to support under warranty claiming the machine is 3 months after warranty. I get it but not when it's just out of warranty, purchased from Office Works NSW and used all OEM supplies since purchase. A very underwhelming experience and one I did not expect from the brand.

Printer works well. But try to replace the ink cartridge. Good luck. Am baffled why and how the “engineers” at Brother couldn’t put the model number on the cartridge. Silly. Not user friendly. Should have stayed with my HP, much easier and more user friendly.

Useless products and customer service. Our printer is faulty and we’re out of pocket over $500 in ink because the printer is now discontinued. Can Brother help? Apparently not.

In response to Brother "Support" message below:
As also stated in my reply to your email to me, the only resolution of this matter is for you to send a service technician to my home to do the assessment. As you've consistently ignored this, I'm guessing you'll wait it out till my warranty expires. Good thing my Google Review won't expire soon.

Buyer Beware!!
I was so excited when I got my new MFC because it was wireless and had a document feeder. My old MFC was great and lasted over 10 years so I purchased a MFC again. Although it does print and scan sometimes, it squeaks and rattles and the quality is terrible. Brother 'Customer Support' has definitely been misnamed! Their Support is to repeatedly send the same response and completely ignore the content of the email enquiry. Brother also practice Disability Discrimination as they require people with Disability to jump through their 'hoops' for warranty claims, despite the unique challenges Disability creates. When I requested some help as I am not able to bundle up my MFC and take it to an Authorised Service Centre, I was repeatedly told I just had to take it in for assessment. Do you really think I would subject myself to your 'support' if I was simply able to do that! Then Brother's once off goodwill gesture was they would have a courier pick up my machine and send it interstate for assessment. There were so many liability limitations that I chose not to accept a conditional good will gesture that would likely end up costing me more money than I paid for the MFC. So now I'm stuck with an MFC of unacceptable quality and Brother will be quite happy to drag this out until the warranty expires soon.

Trying to source a part for a sewing machine.
Brother do not sell parts direct to consumers, they only offer through their supplier network.
The problem is, they have no idea who that is (they have provided me 4 seperate contacts, all were incorrect or disconnected numbers).
Terrible outcome, over a month of back and forth with Brother for a part that sells online in the UK for £2 but Brother won’t let them sell internationally due to Brothers contracts.

We purchased a brother wireless printer
this week. I was unable to connect it to my android mobile and tablet.... so rang Brother in Sydney for help.

The help received from a technician there, Richard, was amazing!
Patient service over the phone; and then when I still needed more help, he persisted in ringing me back!
Now we can print!

This staff member was outstanding with his customer service! I will always recommend Brother to family and friends! Thank you Richard; and I sincerely hope Brother realise what a treasure they have with you!

I bought a new MFC colour printer this year MFC-J5330DW. It no longer prints reds. I've replaced the red ink cartridge with Brother refills twice and still no improvement. I think the inkjets have clogged/broken. There is no support available. I tried ringing and tried online, but the bot does not assist efficiently. Very disappointed with service and will no longer use/recommend Brother products of any sort.
