Car park a nightmare. Stupid design, particularly when someone hits the height bar, they’re unable to reverse out. Adult infants in their toy trucks struggle to do the uturn to get in. Terrible signage, toilets in stupid places, KFC brings the tone down, attracting annoying people to the centre. People always ask me directions cos they are lost. Main lift doesn’t work sometimes. Only outdoor parking for bikes, should be undercover, plus the tiles are extremely slippery when raining from the bike rack to the centre entrance. The place is a white elephant. No movement on any new shops opening. Looks like they’ve pulled out.

I usually am not the type to leave reviews. But have to warn people as a public service! The ramp up and down the car park was extremely difficult to navigate. We ruined our rims going up the ramp on our Tesla and we got a quote from Tesla for over $700+ to fix it. A very expensive visit and we didn’t even end up buying anything, only a small amount of shops open, so extremely limited options, for now at least. On our way down, the ramp swerves and curves, which had our Tesla’s sensors going crazy left right and centre, beeping for imminent impact. If it wasn’t for careful navigation it provably would’ve caused more damage. There seemed to be only 1 level of shops but 3 sets of escalators from car park. So it’s much smaller than appears. You could tell that they rushed to open despite the protracted delays. The playground is half complete, same with what looks like the public domain next to the playground. There were still half done building works in various areas with hoarding up and you can see patched up areas throughout where they just slapped it together on to get to opening!

Paw Paw fruit whole priced at $15? At Woolooware Bay Central. Really? We had an assistant double check at the self serve registers and yes 15 bucks! I looked online and they are advertised at $5.25 at Ashfield. What’s going on Woolies?

I’m a worker at one of the retailers and from March 1st the car park is paid (fair enough). As you would, you’d expect some sort of customer service desk to ask about parking fees for retailers, but no. Their E-mail response is slow or nonexistent.

As I’ve worked at other shopping centres with an info kiosk to ask such questions, I am disappointed at the lack of service.

We hope that this issue will be solved quickly.

Edit: update, they didn’t make it simple…

I was pleasantly surprised with how well the planners had managed to organise the amount of suites in what seemed like quite a small area to build a shopping centre.
Everything looks fancy, the ground and first levels are open and active at the moment and there were plenty of things to check out. Cool little food hall overlooking the bay with a space for bands / artists to play music.
It had two shops open (KFC and a juice / smoothie shop) and quite an artsy, cool playground on the ground floor which can be viewed from the food court (currently closed) so parents can watch their kids while they grab a bite to eat.
Loved the marketing signage around the place, it really helped the bright and cheery atmosphere to radiate through and all the people I saw walking around had big smiles on their dials.
Parking looks great - not sure what the previous commenters were complaining about - the entrance to the multi level carpark is off its own cul de sac street from the traffic lights and can easily be seen. The maximum clearance is 2.2m.
Happy I went down to check it out and will be back to see the range when more shops open up. Big thumbs up to the marketing team, you've done a great job ?

Great shopping centre. It's not overly busy most of the time so easy to park and no crowds to deal with.

The parking entry/exit lanes off Captain Cook Drive are poorly designed. They are way to narrow and difficult to navigate. The risk of damaging wheels and tyres is extremely high, and is evident with the scraps and tyre marks that already appear along the concrete lane dividers. Also, extremely disappointing to discover that there is only one disability parking bay allocated (near the entry) to the whole carpark on level 1.

Bay Central visit was disappointing. Hardly any shops open even after all these delays. Also not sure what they were thinking with that carpark?

I drive a Land Cruiser and It was a mission to navigate some of the turns esp. I can imagine this being a nightmare on game days. The signage was hard to read but glad they used a fancy font. ?

Woolies was a strange one, massive isles you could fit 3 trolleys down but then crammed meat section and tiny Deli that didn’t have the stuff Miranda and Caringbah has.

I’m sure it’ll be a saviour for the Wooloware Bay residents but I’ll stick to annoying Westfield and Caringbah village.

SKYLARK3R clearly works in the marketing dept for bay central what a flop tye marketing is giving out bags that look like Woolies bags and frisbees lol time to get a new marketing team!
