I wanted to recycle my plastic bottles before heading to the airport. I arrived at 5 and they were closed! They should be open until 6 on Friday. Had to drop the plastic bottles elsewhere in general waste. What a waste of plastic and money. Apparently they dont care about recycling or the environment at all here.

Good place to recycle cans ofc there’s no bins to throw away ur plastic bags reuse them or chuck them at home lol or get reusable bags I have old postal bags

I had a lot containers from Christmas and New Year celebrations.
I had no problems with parking and was able to get a trolley quickly to move my containers in side to the machines.
I got a machine immediately.
The staff were very helpful and on hand.

Asked for some assistance with the paperwork and received an extremely angry response. A torrent of expletives, slammed paper and pen down on the counter, kicked/hurled bag of bottles out the back. Been here many times, staff were always so friendly. Maybe just an off day? Really upsetting and a shock to the couple of other customers also there, who asked what is going on. Called police, but as no physical assault had happened they could not do anything. An absolutely frightening display of anger and verbal abuse.

Tomra in Coconut Grove was supposed to be open at 8am Mon-Fri. Arrived there at 8.15am on the 2nd May 2023, wasn't open. Not happy Jan!

Machines work well, guy who comes from the back to tell me in a harsh tone that I'd put something through with a lid on it, not so cool. Also, need a bin for plastic bags and lids.

Call on a public holiday to ask if they're open as it says they're open on google. Call centre person says closed due to lock down, I said that's odd, why would they close due to lock downs that are 3000+ kms away. Has no idea and says she's going off notes she's been given. Asked if she knows of local Tomra is for sure closed or not, she says it it closed for sure. Not sure if she's right or not.
