Maybe the worst company I met.
Just tell some facts I experienced:
1. They changed my aircon belt and the belt got loose and start making big noise only 1 week later.
2. While they fix my rear door panel, the rear windows went wrong and can't control from driver's side. Ken denied to give me any explain just said they didn't touch it and went away rudely. I think the reason is the panel was glued on by them and not easy to take off and check, but the fact is they broke it. They are very irresponsible and the attitude towards me is very rude.
3. They bolted my back bumper improperly and left an angle between the bumper and the car, which should be closely connected. I politely asked if they can check and correct it but Ken said it's the fault of my bumper and said I will need to pay for two or three more hours of work if I want it modified. My bumper used to be there with no angle before one bolt missing. They didn't check the loose and simply bolt it on and charged me long working hours without fix it properly. And they tried ro rip me off while they should fix their own fault.
4. They recommended me somethings I also need to fix when they check, like to change the hand brake shoes, is totally expensive useless scam. I didn't trust them and took my car to another garage, they fix it in no more than one hour without changing the expensive hand brake shoes, just did some adjustment near the clipper and rotor.
5. The price was about $700, I paid cash and got a discount price $600, I think this is related to tax.

This is the first time I leave bad comment on people because they are not doing morally correct and legal things. As a backpacker I don't know how to protect myself from being ripped off by them but I wish my experience can help people from following my track.

A breath of fresh air! The team at Ken Scott Services fitted me in without a booking and quickly resolved a technical fuel delivery issue. They serviced the vehicle, checked brakes and had my car back to me the next day and also gave me advice about a wheel alignment being required due to a very subtle vibration they noticed - that I had not, until pointed out!

This was such an authentic and genuine experience!!! 15 out of 10 for service. This business clearly takes pride in their customer and mechanical expertise. Having travelled over 8,000ks from Victoria, our truck was due for its general service. Not only were we fitted in for this service promptly, we were also dropped off and picked up from the Gateway Shopping centre to fill in our time, as the truck was our only transport. On our return we were also walked through and highlighted any future issues we may need to keep an eye on. Thanks again for setting us off safely on the rest of our travels.

Wow, we’ve just picked up our bus after having to leave it with the team at Ken Scott for the week for some serious repairs and I have been blown away every step of the way with the work that’s been done and the communication and service we’ve been given throughout. Not only did they fit us in when they were already insanely busy but they worked hard and fast to help us (even after hours!) and made sure we had our bus/motorhome back as fast as possible. Highly recommend Ken Scott and the team - and cannot thank them enough! P.S We were also really happy with the final cost of the work and felt it was comparable to what we pay in QLD.

We had a B service done on our Mercedes Sprinter and this was done on the day organised. They also picked up a wear problem with the brakes and organised the replacement parts from Adelaide in a short period of time. The vehicle runs and stops a lot better. Charlene was nice enough to drive us to a place we could fill in some time whist our home away from home was being worked on.

We have been in search of a quality mechanic for awhile after having a couple average experiences at franchise mechanical companies.

We heard about Ken Scott Services (a local family run company that had been in the industry for years) so we decided to give them a go.

Our first experience was a standard service. Ken and his team picked up on something that wasn’t required as part of the service but required maintenance. This reiterated to us that we made the right call and it wasn’t just a tick and flick experience like we’d been having elsewhere.

Our next experience was related to a bigger mechanical issue that was causing serious driving problems with the vehicle. Ken accommodated an inspection with little advance notice and was able to pinpoint the problem immediately. Within the week the issue was resolved and our vehicle is as good as gold.

My advice - if you want a quality mechanic who actually listens to your concerns and delivers on expectations, then look no further.
