I went in on the 31/10/24 at 3:30, waited for about 15 minutes and was served by a very lovely lady Mary Anne, who was very kind and helpful with a handwritten sale and change of ownership. She was able to serve me quickly while still seamlessly helping other employees. Was by far my best experience I've ever had at a MVR. Thanks Mary.

It was busy when I arrived and there were 6 people serving, excellent this shouldn't take too long. Sadly within 15 minutes 3 of the servers disappeared never to return while I was there making the wait time longer than it should be.
Once I made it to the counter had great service.

I don't mind the wait. It's a busy service. And staff are helpful and friendly

What I don't like is the 4pm closing time

Most people don't knock off until 4. You could really boost the N.T. economy by being open an extra half hour to an hour

People need their vehicles. And your price for rego doesn't reflect the limited hours of service. I hope this review reaches someone who can take that into consideration

Had a simple question wanting to make sure i had everything i needed for my visit to MVR Palmerston. Sat on the phone for an hour listening to the same music loop. Hung up without speaking to someone as my lunch break was over! Nothing on the website answered the question. Next day took everything I thought I would need, waited for over half an hour to see someone only to be told sorry we cant complete your transaction as you don't have all the required documentation. Highly understaffed MVR is ridiculous (poor overworked staff) considering the unfriendly opening hours for working customers. Why not have a hotline for questions only, not transactions so the lines are not jammed for hours so at least when you get there you are prepared and have all the requirements on hand to do what waited in line for .

Thanks, Nitin, for the awesome customer service! Today, I had my L test, and you were on a break. While I was doing my assessment, I came across an older lady with curly hair and glasses. I told her the iPad was frozen, but she was really rude and made me wait for ages. When I asked her for help again, she just said, "Oops, sorry, I forgot," and made a funny face.

But then you, Nitin, stepped in and helped me out with everything. You were so nice and made me feel better after dealing with that grumpy lady.

Seriously, why's it so hard for some people to just be kind?

It’s a typical MVR, gets super busy no matter what time you decide to go in, their ticket machine is stupid and confusing. And you sit there waiting up to 45+ minutes, possibly nearly an hour before your ticket gets called. Even though there’s only like 3 staff on…

The staff are great and they are doing their best. The system is like living in 90s, there are alot of things that can be done online instead of queueing for 1 hour to solve a 2 minute business.
