We shouldn't have to wait 1.5 hours in line. This happens every time I visit, you charge 3% stamp duty for the transfer of a registration for this terrible service.

Disgusting. No wonder everybody is leaving the NT, if the business situation is not bad enough and the crime is not scaring you away, you need to go to the MVR and they will finish you off.
I am a tour operator, my driver's license expired as an operator you can not renew it online. I possibly need a medical and a police clearance. I had 1 week to get a medical and another 2 weeks of waiting for a police clearance. I was told, I could not get my H endorsement and continue driving my tours and transporting my guests at my last visit to the MRV.
The police clearance was 2 weeks over the 3 months and no lean way was given. Today I finally received my second police clearance for the year and paid another $ 95 for it and $ 165 for a medical certificate, only to find
out waiting at the MVR on my second visit, this time for 1.5 hours, my H-endorsement is still valid until 2025, and nothing of it was necessary.
After a 1.5. wait, was "sorry for the wait". NO apologie to waste my time or money. This is why the NT, Darwin, is going down faster than the Titanic. I will not be on this sinking ship, but very upset why my money and time were wasted for nothing.

So, MVR is a joke in Darwin. After waiting for over 45 mins, I am being told by a rude staff that the wait time is over an hour who sounded like she didn’t care. While they display in bold they have ZERO tolerance for rude behaviour, I would expect the same for the customers. This is not a free service they are offering. I wish I never had to come to MVR, coming to MVR is so stressful!

Rang the MVR this morning to get my renewal for my Rego and I could not believe it. Tooke me 15 minutes to speak to someone and I received my renewal immediately and now Rego done. Thank you.

Just got there for leaners license, so happy with their service so helpfull and kind. aasish who was still training, he explained everything clearly and he waa so amazing to help me with every question. Keep it up!

If I could make it zero stars I would. I would write a review about the customer service, however I haven't been able to speak to anyone after 1.25 hours on hold. Clearly this is not private enterprise.

Lots of waiting even for the information you are confuse at Rego. No help desk. Take plenty of food and drinks for sitting there for any service you are taking here at MVR. For simple service you need to wait for 2hrs. It's so frustrating. ?
