We recently went on a wine tour and had an enjoyable day overall, but there were a few areas that could be improved to enhance the experience.

At the first venue, the wine portions were quite small, which left us wanting more to fully appreciate the tasting. The second venue offered a delicious meal, but it would have been nice to have a choice in what we were served to cater to different preferences. The final stop was a pub, which was pleasant but felt a bit out of place for the tour. Supporting a local brewery with homemade beers might have made the experience feel more unique and aligned with the theme.

Our guide, Chris, was very friendly and engaging throughout the day. However, we did feel a little pressured at the end when encouraged to leave 5-star reviews and specific feedback on the spot. While we understand the importance of reviews, it would have been better to let us reflect and write them at our own pace.

With a few tweaks, this tour has the potential to be a fantastic experience!

We recently had the pleasure of experiencing Tipsy Tours, and we can confidently say it was one of the best outings we’ve had in a long time! Our tour guide, Chris, truly made the experience unforgettable.

Right from the start, Chris’s enthusiasm was contagious. He greeted us with a warm smile and a wealth of knowledge about the Sunshine Coast region. Throughout the tour, he was incredibly engaging, weaving captivating stories that provided context and added depth to our journey.

The selected stops were fantastic—each location offered unique drinks that perfectly showcased the area’s flavors. Chris knew exactly what to recommend based on our preferences, ensuring that we both found something we loved. His passion for the local culture and its offerings really shone through, making the tour not just about tasting drinks but immersing ourselves in the local vibe.

Moreover, Chris went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable, creating a relaxed atmosphere where we could all enjoy and have fun.

If you’re looking for a great time filled with laughter, learning, and amazing drinks, I highly recommend Tipsy Tours. Ask for Chris—you won’t be disappointed! He truly elevates the experience, making it one you’ll remember for years to come.

We had Chris as our tour guide today, and he was fantastic! He was knowledgeable, engaging, and ensured the group had a great time. We captured some amazing photos during the tour, which we later edited to perfection, making for lasting memories of the day.

That said, there were a few aspects that fell short of expectations. The choice of venues was disappointing. I had anticipated more of a traditional wine tour experience—learning about the wine-making process, exploring vineyards, and enjoying generous tastings. Unfortunately, the wine tastings were quite limited and felt stingy, which detracted from the overall experience.

Another downside was the pressure to leave a five-star review. Chris was quite insistent about it, which came across as pushy and uncomfortable. While I understand the importance of reviews, this approach felt overly forceful and took away from the otherwise enjoyable experience.

Overall, the tour had its highlights, but there’s room for improvement, especially in delivering a more authentic wine tour and creating a more relaxed atmosphere when it comes to feedback.

She went above and beyond from assisting with our wine tasting, serving our delicious 3 course lunch at The Barrel to even carrying our purchases to the bus for us.

Super disappointed with Tipsy Tours Sunshine Coast. Booked the hens tour months in advance and on the day was taken somewhere completely different to what is stated on the website with no advance warning. The place we were taken was not at all of comparable value. The driver stated "the website is wrong" and that a manager would call me later to apologise and discuss, which never happened. I followed up with an email to try and make it right rather than going straight to bad reviews, but have now been ghosted by the company. Save your $170 and catch a maxi cab to the pub, it's better value.

Phenomenal experience, every venue was perfect, great views, drinks, vibes and staff. But best of all was the tour guide Chris. He went above and beyond not only with us but with the venues as well, you can tell he takes this experience as more than a job. Highly recommend 6/5 stars.
