Great butcher with a good range. Love the trays of grass fed steak , good value. The garlic and herbs snitzels are also a favourite. The snags leave the woolies for dead. I even get my chicken frames for crabbing here at a low price.

I've been going to A&M meats for years now.
They always have good quality meat and very hard to beat for price.
They are also happy prepare the cuts for you (I often get 1kg of chicken breasts diced up).

They also have a great selection of convince style foods (stir fry mixes, sausage rolls, pre-marinaded steaks and pies) which are reasonably priced.

Outside of that they also keep some misc selections of meat like brisket cuts and Wagyu steaks which are always a top quality.

Love these guys. I travel from Forest Lake to them at least once a week. The meat is so fresh and tasty. I always get the homemade rissoles just like mum used to make and the thick BBQ sausages. They are so full of flavour and natural. Great service as well. Paul always serves me. He’s polite and friendly and nothing as ever a hassle.
So glad I found you guys. See you soon.

I've tried many places for that perfect smokey ham and it's A&M Meats hands down. Do yourself a favour and stop in you won't regret it. Fantastic staff, fantastic meats. Seriously I'm not kidding. Make a special trip. I live in wynnum, happily travel all that way for that mm mmm mmm smokey ham!!!!!!

Great quality steaks. The customer service was perfect to me. Got greeted, he was quick to offer some options, wrapped it up, I paid and off I went. Classic butcher with no BS. I dont like ingenuous small talk or fussing about with picking my cuts of meat. They know what they are doing and I'm not going to have a cry if one piece of steak is 2grams lighter than the others like some people seem to in the reviews.
Im glad I've found a good Aussie business to go to for our meat shop now.

Had been a huge fan of this butcher's meat for years, especially his Black Angus rumps. Was more than worth the extra money. Sadly in recent times his rumps have been slowly declining to the point now where they are consistently very ordinary. Rubbery tough and bland. Even the Jacks Creek rumps are ordinary. Have no idea why this is happening but I wont be paying the higher end prices for steaks inferior to what Woolworths offer for a cheaper price.

My one star rating for this review is based on an incident at this shop 2 weeks ago. I decided I’d like some forequarter BBQ lamb chops for $17 a kilo. When I was served, I asked for the 4 chops which were on the left. They looked good. They were trimmed of excess fat and cut to the thickness and size I was after. The butcher was quite rude in his reply. He told me he can only sell me the chops from the back of the display first. These chops were quite inferior with different shape with less meat on them and the fat content was quite excessive. I told him that I’d like to choose which ones I got, as I was the one paying for the product. His reply to me “ No! You’ll have to have the ones I’ve chosen you…..Lamb is expensive you know, and we can’t have customers just choosing all the best ones!” left me quite flabbergasted. As a grandchild of a butcher, I know which cuts of meat are best to choose I will definitely not be returning.
