Disappointed in the lack of understanding, patience and empathy for unique individual needs. Extremely harsh cutting off an incredibly kind, skilled and capable young man from your services and him being told to never contact his consultant Jamie again. AES you need to review your values and services as this is unacceptable and damaging to young indigenous people and their confidence. I do not recommend this service as I don’t believe it has anyones best interest.

they made me come in for an hour long interview asked me what gender i was went through 6 unknown genders when im clearly a male asked me if id like to learn about a culture i grew up in even though theres 1000s of variations and asked me for different descriptive words for qaulitys for a job like i was in english class for them to just ingore my emails of my resume they act like they have high standards this organisation is a redicoulouse waste of time and effort theres was 2 woman their some old white lady teaching a young brown woman seems unnecassary all they had to do was give me a list of vacant jobs i could apply for save yourself the trouble theyll use aboriginal in their name but dont actually assist at all with anything theyll boast about some opportunitys then never reply to emails or support you even though youve taken like 3-4 hours out your day to contact interveiw to then have silly usless conversations about gender and culture and descriptive qaulities for productivity when youve clearly come for employment reasons this place could definatly lose some funding alot of unproductive woman in that work space would prefer to speak with a more diverse and productive team whos more direct and respectfull of time whos not worried about productive descriptions of my hobbies or watever strange genders were listed in the interveiw despite my culture having nothing to do with homosexuality it seem sinnapropriate my culture having stict cultural practices for our gender roles called men and womans buisness this is strange they dont see this as innapropriate .

AES’ cultural safety practices weren't implemented and my cousin’s well-being/emotions were disregarded at the end of a crisis situation.

If it wasn't for other support systems in place, they'd be sleeping rough on the street of the CBD…

I urge Indigenous fullas to look elsewhere for employment support, as AES has shown they have little regard for vulnerable clientele, unfortunately.

Shamejob, try to do better for our mob.
