I could not be more pleased with the decision to have Ace Metalwork replace my horrible old aluminium fly screen door, with a lovely security gate. The price was very competitive, the installation was hassle free, and and the finished product is beautiful. I'd definitely recommend Ace Metalwork.

Ace Metalwork recently replaced the driveway gate on our Victorian terrace. It's a beautifully powder coated gate that looks amazing! He took the time to make sure we were getting the exact detail we wanted and installed it...on a Saturday, in 35 degree heat! We are thrilled. No hesitation recommending. A rare find.

In 2021 Ace Metalwork fabricated and installed two powder-coated security doors with flyscreens at our house. We were impressed by the quality of the doors, keyed alike to the existing wooden doors, and by the quality of service. Based on that experience, we ordered powder-coated louvered panels to be installed on a carport. Because of inevitable delays due to the Covid pandemic, fabrication and installation were delayed but it was easy to keep track of things. The panels have been installed and are of the same high quality as the security doors and the service matched our earlier experience. We have no hesitation in recommending Ace Metalwork for similar work.

Recently used Ace Metalwork to install a front security door to our terrace and we are absolutely amazed at the quality of the work. The door itself looks fantastic and even catered for the curve at the top of the door. From the first email, contact was fast and the install was quick. Would highly recommend to anyone if they want some grills added to their home.

Just a little job, replacing fly screen on an existing security door with security mesh. However Charles came within a couple of hours for requesting the service, and took the doors away. Back and installed within 24 hours, and look great. Highly recommended.

I had ACE Metal Work manufacture and install a new security door to my Victorian terrace. They came and measured twice, took way longer than quoted to manufacture, and after it was installed, discovered that the lock had been slashed with an angle grinder. The lock was taken off to have a new one fitted, but the installer informed me it might be a week or so before it could be installed. A security door without a lock is useless. Thankfully he came back the same day a fitted the replacement lock, a five minute job! After paying in full, I am still waiting for a receipt despite several emails. Overall I am not impressed and would not recommend.

These guys did an impressive job with our security steel door. Charles came over at short notice, with his pencil and notepad and gave us a quote on the spot which was very competitive. They delivered when they promised and even installed on a Saturday. The quality and craftsmanship is impressive. We were happy to support a local hardworking business and will recommend without reservations.
