Super helpful, more helpful than Amart’s customer service team. They’re team in the pickup area are also very helpful and lovely.

Promised alot but fell short sadly due to the poor service. 1st week of October we purchase a new bed, we're told 2-4wks for delivery...heard nothing by week 5 so I rang and was told I had made a mistake yet it said that on the delivery notice, was told another 2-3wks ..... waited until the 9th week and rang again to be told nope 2 more weeks away but it's on the way from Brisbane, went in to settle the account fully and coordinate delivery and the young man was more than helpful, great customer service that sadly needs to be taught to some of the others....delivery day finally arrived so I took the day off work to be at home and control the guard dogs... was told 9am for delivery, 10.30am arrives and no bed so I ring and am then told "Nope your beds missed the truck!" Brief conversation with a young man scrambling to cover up what ever took place in the end he said the "the boss himself will deliver it this afternoon"... I ring again at 2pm after no communication to confirm a delivery time and am told 3pm during which I look for some form of compensation
of even a mattress protector...I am told "youll be fine, thanks for understanding" and goodbye ... eventually the contractor arrives and the bed is delivered with him apologising profusely stating he wasn't aware it was even on the delivery list for today, so was not his fault.
We are about to furnish several homes we hold as rentals and will now only use Amart as a way to get a quote for comparison but we won't shop there again after this.

As someone that spent 30yrs in retail I was once told an old saying...."the bitter taste of poor service will far outweigh the cheaper price tag"... seems fairly spot on in this case...once bitten twice shy for sure

Paid full price for bed frame and mattress yesterday.picked up today and frame is ex display, dirty and missing bolts and screws. Amart response is we’ll order another one so wait more than a month. No explanation apology or help in any way. I recommend any other store for all furniture shoppers

Lovely big show room with wonderful wheelchair access. Helpful staff but one of those shops where you need to ask them 'to do you a deal'. Good though.

Me and my wife attended the Cairns Store on the 30/12/2024 to shop for our annual Christmas Change over of Pillows for our house. After wandering the store by ourselves for 30mins without anyone assisting us, we tried out a few pillows and made a decision on 2x Orthopedic Pillows that were " on the floor in boxes with several other types of pillows, straight off the shelf and floor". We proceeded to the front counter to complete our purchase and wait for several minutes before the lady behind the counter acknowledge that we were standing there, mind you having fairly loud conversation at an attempt to get her attention.

After proceeding to scan the pillows that we had selected from the showroom floor and shelf, she quickly put one of the pillows behind the counter and advised us that " this pillow belongs to someone else and that we cannot have it as someone is coming in a week from the day to collect the pillow with other items".

There was no labels, tags or name indicating tag suggesting that this pillows was already purchased. I politely advised her that we had just picked this pillow from a pile of several boxs of pillows from the showroom floor to which she advised that this pillow was the last one in stock and that someone had already ordered it online and that the order had forgot to be picked and that we could not have the pillow. Mind you we had already unboxed the pillow and testing it out by laying on it.

After the most weirdest experience we were then advised that we can order the pillow and that it would be 3x weeks away. Very poor time frame for a pillow to arrive and will probably end up taking 2- months to get here. Ordering also doesn't include postage or delivery, have to drive back into the store to collect.

She didn't even assist it trying to find a similar pillow or advise on if there was any stock other than Sydney.
I don't understand how something like this can happen. Imagine if you walked into a Grocery Shop, loaded your trolley the was told that they could give yoy the items cause someone else was coming in later to take these items cause they ordered online.

Weirdess experience in retail. Submitted a complaint to customer service and head office and no response.

Overpriced low-quality garbage. Worthless warranty. Intimidating and creepy after-sales service. If I could give a 0 star rating, I would, Save yourself the anxiety and stress and go to a reputable store.
