I recently moved to WA and needed to furnish my home, so I purchased a significant amount of furniture from the Amart Joondalup store. My experience with the in-store team was fantastic! A special shoutout to the amazing salesperson who collaborated with the store manager to offer a total solution at an impressive price. Even the Joondalup warehouse staff were great—truly an excellent team, and I’m very thankful for their support.

However, my experience with the central warehouse at Jandakot was quite disappointing. Some of my items weren’t available at Joondalup, so I had to hire a van and pick them up myself. My appointment was between 3–4 PM, but due to city traffic, I was running slightly late. My partner and I continuously called the warehouse to inform them, but we got no response. I arrived at 3:58 PM and rang the bell at 3:59 PM—right before closing time. One staff member acknowledged my arrival and said he would bring the items out, but shortly after, another person came out and sternly told me not to come that late next time since they close at 4 PM. Technically, I was on time, so while I understood their frustration, the tone made me feel unwelcome despite my apology.

Once the items arrived via forklift, the staff left them near my van, finished the paperwork, and walked away. When I politely asked for help loading a particularly heavy box, I was told, “Try to do it by yourself.” I recalled that the Amart salesperson had assured me there would be assistance, which is why I had come alone with the van. Lifting such heavy boxes alone was a safety risk, and while I understand this might be company policy, it would have been much better if they had made it explicitly clear that no help would be provided.

In the end, what started as an amazing experience turned into a frustrating one. The sales and Joondalup teams were outstanding, but the lack of communication and unwillingness to assist at the Jandakot warehouse left a bad impression. It’s disappointing how one part of the company can completely shift your overall perception.

Product : Copeland King Single Bed - Guarantee provided for 5 years. This is only 9 months now and one bed side of bed fall from the Joint, went with hinges and impacting the other side to crack down. I was advised to put a claim. Had a horrific experience dealing with Claims department. No replies and call back. When i chased for reply i was advised via email with one line claim rejected saying non- manufacturing damage from external forces. I will never buy anything form Amart again.

I recently reached out to Amart Joondalup regarding a mattress I purchased with a 3-year warranty. Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience with their customer service. When I called to discuss a warranty claim due to an issue with the mattress, the representative was unhelpful and dismissive. They even mentioned that the mattress was “not supposed to be used frequently” and questioned why I would buy it to use regularly. I found this response completely unacceptable. A mattress should be built for regular use, and I expected more support from Amart when an issue arose. Very unsatisfactory service — I won’t be recommending Amart.

We bought a set of electric recliner s around 4000$worth. In the first 6months a recliner broke an then they replaced it but then the recliner broke again and this they say even though I warranty they won't fix it and it's the same thing that happened to the first recliner. I will never buy from Smart again. Horrible

I bought Rumpus lounge from Amart in 2022 Sep.
Since then I have had the base cushion warranty repaired on it once with lounge being without a cushion for 3-4 weeks 😳 which means you cannot have guests at home.

Now just 10 months apart 3 more base cushions have degraded and this time around Amart refuses to do any repair saying it’s a normal wear and tear. When their own traders came to look at the lounge they said “clearly 3 Base cushions have degraded and needs repair”.
Amart thinks it’s not manufacturing defect. My question is if it’s not a manufacturing defect then why is their base cushions degrading in such a rapid pace?

Upon calling their customer services there hasn’t been a satisfactory response from them and long waiting time on the line makes you cut the call without speaking to them -“good strategy”.

$3000 down the drain as now if Amart can’t repair my lounge I can’t use them as when I sit I touch the base of the lounge 😂

Thanks Amart for opening my and many others eyes after this incident.

Save money by not choosing Amart as you want peace of mind after spending hard earned money on something you enjoyed purchasing.
