Staff were friendly and helpful, but you had to go & get one to help. While the prices were good, they weren't very evident in the section I was in. Had to look at the prices online. But I left with a couple of good buys, so I was pleased in the end.

Their website was showing the tent I needed was low stock, and I called these people to ensure the item was available before a 40-minute drive! They said it was available. I drove to the store and it was unavailable. I reported to the store assistant and he was sorry for what happened and I asked him to to report this to the manager/supervisor or see if they can help in anyway. No help and it was just a waste of time before our camping day. The worst customer service!

Ipswich Anaconda is a modern store only a couple of years old, large, clean and spacious.
Stock is variable and some of their own brands like Dometic are cheaper and average quality.
Other products are really good value due to their buying power.
On Sundays it's mostly staffed by juniors who do lack some customer service skills.
You can wonder around aimlessly without any real assistance even though the store is really empty.
When I got to the counter the young girl was busy reading their latest catalogue and looked annoyed that I wanted to be served. Her manner was unenthusiastic and bland.
I prefer to shop online and do click and collect due to the lack of good service.

As West Ipswich is my local store I've purchased many different items ranging from clothing, camping accessories, fishing gear, LP Gas refills, etc.... I've typically found goods to be as advertised and staff to be helpful. However today I felt let down as I phoned to query if they were refilling gas cylinders (sometimes they are not) and the current price? The answer was "filling" yes, and $25 for a 8.5 kg gas cylinder refill. What I was not told was the cylinder requires a "bung" for store safety and procedures. If I were told, I would have put a bung in from another cylinder prior to driving 10 km. Consequently when arriving at the West Ipswich store and advised of this information my choice was either drive back home and fit a bung and head back again, or buy one for a ridiculous price of $4
I made the choice to purchase a bung in store, however was frustrated given the circumstances. Maybe management will pass this on to staff to advise people should they call in advance and save customers frustration. My advice "DON'T FORGET TO PUT A BUNG IN BEFORE HEADING ANYWHERE FOR A REFILL"

Beautiful staff, everything in-stock. No bare shelves in this store! The organisation is great, and aisles/sections are clearly labelled so even an indoor person like myself can go in and find what they need. Thanks!

Rhiannon helped me and my mate out with some hiking shoes, was really knowledgeable and super easy to deal with. She helped us understand the differences between all the different hiking shoes and really helped us on our way.
