We are in the process of finding a high school for our son with special needs.

Out of all 12 private schools I have spoken to so far, this is the ONLY ONE that has paywalled providing enrollment information and decline to provide any information about the school's inclusivity and diversity programs. In my case, when talking to the enrollment officer I was explicitly asked to pay first $115 for the admission form in order to answer any enrolment related question (the irony).

When I attempted to ask about any existing specialized program/centre/curriculum to help kids with needs or if there are options for 1-to-1, 1-to-4 or 1-to-8 teaching I was told that I must pay the $115 first for these questions to be answered. After sharing this with my wife her comment was: strike them out from the list and share with everyone what just happened.

Let me tell you, this is just WRONG, particularly under the setting of the catholic faith. I will definetely raise this with the church.

By the way, it is NOT about the money (happy to pay twice if needed for my son) but about organizational PRINCIPLES.

Having sons at the College I often wonder what my money pays for! Exorbitant school fees, average teachers, average head of senior school head of junior school, don't really waste your money. The school is run by EREA in Victoria. I think they're an entity that needs to be looked at as well. Not sure that child safety is taken 100% seriously. Or that of the mental health of boys trying to achieve.

Aquinas is a great community, my boys are always challenged ,be it studies or sports. The teachers are helpful and guide them well. I'm glad my sons go to Aquinas 🙂

The teachers here are outright disrespectful. the librarian slapped a student while using a printer and the teachers play favourites with theyre students.

An AMAZING school. Nurtured my son and really got behind him. A couple of years ago he really wasn't feeling great about himself. Anxiety, stressed out about school and disheartened. He is a shining star now! He LOVES AQUINAS and so do we!

Amazing campus with excellent facilities. I love their Instagram page. The students are always doing interesting activities, setting themselves up with skills of the future. The staff and students are making the most of it all.

WVJ Productions, I totally agree with that statement! Such a great learning environment has really aided my growth in both academic and social skills! The extra curricular activities available to students especially enhances school life and makes it very fulfilling and satisfying. The religious retreats provide students with time for reflection and relaxation during their schooling years and all the staff at the school are open and great to talk to. The cultural department features multiple ensemble opportunities, including a production, and the music nights for the Middle and Senior school are great events for students and family alike. The multiple CERT courses on offer in years 11 and 12 give great insight into real life work and the skills one requires to be a valued part of different industries. The English and Culture staff, especially, are favourite groups of mine, being very understanding and fun to learn from. The school also features pristine lockers for storing personal belongings during school hours, so you know your things are always safe and secure!
