I recently had to visit Armadale Health Services due to severe stomach pain, which turned out to be appendicitis. From the moment I arrived, I was met with professionalism, compassion, and efficiency. The doctors quickly conducted blood tests and a CT scan, diagnosing my condition accurately.

The surgical team performed my appendectomy the next day, and I couldn’t be more grateful for how smoothly everything went. The nurses, doctors, surgeons and all other staff were absolutely amazing—attentive, caring, and highly skilled. They ensured I was comfortable throughout my stay, and their dedication truly stood out.

I am beyond impressed and thankful for the exceptional care I received. The staff at Armadale Health Services are truly gems—their kindness, expertise, and commitment to their patients are commendable. Thanks to them, I am now feeling great and recovering well.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone at Armadale Health Services. Your hard work and dedication make a real difference in people’s lives. God bless you all! 🙏

I was admitted to Armadale Hospital after a suspected heart attack the day before. I received the very best of care. The nurses & doctors were very good. I has all the relevant tests & my obs were taken often. All the staff were friendly & helpful. I must say the food was very good, especially the deserts. I went home feeling much better with a clear plan for the future. I am very fortunate to leave close to such a good hospital.

Don't go there, nobody there cares about you. Don't try to question your diagnosis by an intern just learning. As I did and get blatantly abused and harassed by nursing staff. I was shocked amd appalled by there behaviour and for all the wonderful nurses who care thankyou and God Bless I think it should mandatory they all read the book nightingale bet they all think it's about a bird, sorry I digress
Because the nurses where coming in abusing and harassing me btw I am 75 in Heart Failure chronic A Fib, stage 3 kidney failure among others too many to mention I took my hearing aides out so I couldn't hear them screeching at me they deceided the best way to deal with it was to send three very large securities men to remove me. While in the foyer a staff worker asked me if I was ok as I was crying, I told her what I had been through and I wished to contact the phone number that was set up because of the little Indian girl who died
I rang and eventually man came out to see me
In the mean time. My Doctor rang and told them to admit me. He went and got the staffs stories
His reply is yes I do need to be admitted but as they had discharged me I had to go back to the waiting room and go through the process again
My daughter waited with me for another hour and I said I'm going home I feel to sick I need to sleep. I asked my daughter to ring said gentleman who was to help me get treatment placed me right back in the same situation how ludicrous when she told him We're leaving his reply was we really think she needs to see a doctor OMG YOU THINK!!!!! This is just a short version of my visit but I ended up spending a whole day at the hospital when I could have stayed in bed with the same outcome nothing!!!!! Mind you I could have done without the upset and racing heart I left with.
I speak up and this is what happened to me. What about our elderly community who don't have full mental faculties
I hate to imagine I see the political adds saying we have the best medical facilities and housing in Australia These are blatant lies
I know a lot out there have experienced a lot of abuse just remember on election day none of the sides care. So think hard when you vote.

What is their problem honestly I come to get help and I honestly feel no different as I went in. I respect all doctors and nurses. I feel that when I go there is no respect back. I went to get answers why I had bleed for so long. But when I was asking the doctor about the test that I had. Her tone what brunt and disrespectful and no need for that. We all should be here to help one another. Unfortunately I will not be attending to Armadale emergency department ever again. There is no compassion and no respect. We all have hard times not just them. There is no need for rudeness and disrespectful.

A surprise stay in Armadale Hospital (vertigo) confirmed that we have an extremely high quality service here in Armadale - ED, MAU, Rehab, Physio. The care provided by all the staff - particularly the nursing staff - was absolutely superb. Personal, considerate and, best of all, so caring and cheerful. How do they do it, but I'm very glad they do! The food was of an entirely appropriate quality and generous in quantity. Another 'excellent' there! The physios were considerate and informative (very important in my treatment) and could not have been more supportive. Altogether a lovely and reassuring experience. If something comes up requiring in-patient treatment again I will feel totally relaxed and content that my stay will be nothing but pleasant. Great job, guys! Keep it up

I recently had surgery at Armadale Hospital, and the care I received was outstanding. The staff were professional, compassionate, and attentive from start to finish. The surgical team of Simon Parys made me feel at ease and kept me well-informed throughout the process. Post-op care was excellent, and the nurses ensured I was comfortable and supported during my recovery.
A big thank you to the entire team for making this experience as smooth as possible

Armadale hospital was truely amazing! I went to Fiona Stanley hospital 2 days prior with extreme stomach pains - waited 5 hours & only had a blood test done to be told I was fine & if it got worst to come back. I then went to Armadale hospital with the same pain - only waited 1.5 hours & got all the tests done to see what the cause of the pain was. Turns out I was very ill & needed surgery. They cared for me so well & now I’m all better. You can definitely tell all staff love their job & do actually care for people. They were all so very friendly as well!! If I didn’t go to Armadale I’d most probably still be sick & in agony. Myself & my family will always be going to Armadale Hospital from now on.

I was referred from Urgent care to Armadale ED yesterday afternoon and I cannot be anymore grateful for the level of care and attentiveness i received during my overnight stay. From the triage staff to AINS, ED staff and ward staff I was looked after with such a high level of compassion and urgency. The ED waiting area and ED department was so busy and the staff were run of their feet but still took time and diligence with each patient. I have been in other hospitals with the same case and never taken as seriously and treated as well. I am beyond grateful for the amazing staff and I hope they all get the recognition they deserve.
