The local Ausgrid team responded quickly to hazardous power lines brought down by a fallen branch this morning on Water Street. Thanks to the team for the fast response, regular progress updates - very reassuring and all fixed before traffic started! Well done.

I called the ausgrid when my unit had a blackout. The people were very helpful. They issued the job. However the technician called and told me, according to the service term and condition read during my call” the technician will attend within 5 hours” so he would come either in 3to 5 hours or next day as he had 3 emergency works before me. Then I call the call centre again and they confirmed me that the guy will be to my property in 5 minutes. He turned up as I finished my call but was very angry. He was yelling at me saying why did You call the call centre again? and he had to given up an emergency work.he told me if you are a tenant you should call your agent. He went inside the main switch room and turned the power on to my unit as it was tripped and told me something was wrong to my unit, I just rushed inside as I got scared coz of his behaviour. ausgrid is a great company. Previously I had same problem in previous address. But the guy was so good and so professional I still remember him. But this time I just got scared.

A big thank you to Ausgrid for restoring our power lines so swiftly after a tree dragged down the lines through the windy and stormy weather a couple of days ago in Hornsby Heights. We are grateful for your prompt assistance and treat coordination works with SES in times of need and the great administration under PM Scomo.

Appalling slow and confusing administrative service after we'd received a pole defect notice. Even worse, our electricity was deliberately cut off on a Friday evening having been advised at 4.30pm. Entirely due to Ausgrid's own incompetencies. Family of five without power for the weekend. Thanks Ausgrid, you miserable, useless cowards.

Power went out in Hornsby yesterday around 11:40 am. I lost two fridges full of food and could not cook for my family.My partner had to drive half an hour to do work reports as internet was down at home. Mobile services was not working. My daughter couldn't do her homework or go to tutoring. The black out went on till the morning.

I think this is unfair to us and the whole community and shops. We always pay our biills on time and this has cost us alot of money. Going to have to re stock two fridges for 5 people.

SO SOMETHING SHOULD BE DONE ABOUT THIS FOR THE COMMUNITY

Sincere thank you to all those Ausgrid crews and their subcontractors. These teams worked tirelessly for 18 hours to restore power back to most of the Hornsby area on Wednesday. Well done.

suggest TRIM TRIM buy a candle , its going to get worse , this is what happen when you throw a extra 2,000,000 people into a over extended network . guess what !! they want to shove more people into Sydney ,
Ausgrid is a great service , Next thunderstorm dont think of the inconvenience, think of the workers risking there lives so that your kids can do there Homework.

Wonderful technician James came, Sunday , identified my hot water problem and got me temporary hot water. I cannot speak highly enough of his professionalism, courtesy and kindness.
