Dealing with Austrailers from the beginning to end was not the most pleasant experience. The reason I purchased from them was because they were Australian built and paid extra for that reason. Upon final payment and collection I was told I could do bank deposit or pay by card on the day. They didn’t mention there was a surcharge for paying by card until after I had paid. They also didn’t mention that in addition to the trailer quote I had to then pay for registration on-top of everything.

They offered the upgrade of zinc anneal sheets and durra gal chassis package deal. Upon receiving the trailer I noticed rust spots around welds they then explained that it’s the material that was used had already been treated therefore it will still rust where the welds are. I then also found out that the chassis is not durra gal steel but standard steel. Their response to this is that I only mentioned zinc sheets and not the gal chassis in the email (was a bundle package). Still paid the same for the upgrade.

Also buyers understand that there is no mount for the number plate or the plate light they just pop Rivet the plate to the tailgate which is now a place to damage whatever is in the trailer.

In addition to this the paint job is far from good I didn’t expect an amazing job but I didn’t want drips through out.

Also Upon arrival on a friday at 3:30pm which on google says open until 5:00pm was told they had to stay back and wait for me to pick up. When I went to load up the trailer I had to wire the plug onto the trailer lights and remind them about the spare tyre and mount that myself.

The trailer seems structurally solid. I am just disappointed in the final finish of this product and the customer service.

Really impressed with the team at Austrailers in Clontarf and highly recommend them. I needed to replace an axle, springs, hubs etc for a small boat trailer. Brought in my old parts to get measured up. The new parts were ordered and available to pick up the next day! Really grateful for having 2 small plates welded to the axle when I picked it up, something I could not have done myself. Thanks Karen and team.

Whilst it took a few weeks longer than originally advised, I'm very happy with my new trailer. The only issue I have was the lack of communication. I was rarely contacted, I wasn't advised about the delay or when it was finally completed, with almost all communication being initiated by me. Staff were very pleasant and professional, however a little more communication with the customer would have made the process a better experience.
