I miss the two lovely and efficient women who used to run this post office. The people running it now provide a very slow service, and the line is always long. Today I waited in line over thirty minutes to simplify buy stamps for three letters. Despite the long line, the woman remained in the back. The man never acknowledged any of us in line to provide an update on wait time. Most in line said this was their third attempt to collect a package because they'd previously had to give up and walk away.
Ive been tolerant for months in case they are still learning, but basic customer service skills should be a given.
It is frustrating that they still can't answer basic questions or offer basic assistance.

This is a great post office fast service very lovely staff.
I would love to see this post office open up on a Saturday from 10am to 12pm just 2 hours that would so much easier for when people couldn't make it there on Friday due to it closing up.. and working through the week getting your parcels on the Saturday morning would be so ideal not just for me but many people. And coming onto Xmas so many parcels having all their tracking updates waiting to be picked up. As couriers find it hard to leave parcel at a home address , could be no one home or unsafe surroundings and could be stolen. Or can't leave there due to bad weather or just no one at home to take the parcels.. so I say to Woolloongabba please consider 2 hours opening on a Saturday morning.. I would be more than happy to give you a $50 tip everytime i went there on a Saturday to pick up parcels as I can't take time off work through the week. And when I finish work your door business is closed..if anyone else agrees with me on opening up 2 hours of a Saturday morning. Leave your reviews, it would be better for so many workers who work Monday to Friday and post office is closed as you finish work at 5pm each day.. and can't be home as your at work..

I am an international student. I thought they looked for the package very quickly and asked if they could hold my package for a little longer while I was back home for the holidays. And they kept my package for me. Sometimes it was already after five o'clock, which is their working hours, and they still helped to pick up the parcels

Two ladies complaining about me trying to find my parcel after 3 attempts after receiving the text message to collect it. Spoke in mandarin thought I wouldn’t understand it. But duh. Lined up for 30 mins each time just to speak to them and got nothing done. How is it my job as customer to find out where my parcel is when the tracking number clearly shows it’s at this post office Rudest service I’ve ever received.

And a head up folks, when they speak in mandarin, they might be bad mouthing you just like how they did to me.

Would’ve given 1 star if I could.

I cannot emphasise this enough- TERRIBLE customer service. They act like they can’t hear you or understand English. I told the woman at the counter to put a tape across my package because the parcel satchel had a hole on its side and stuff inside might fall off during transit. The whole time she spoke a woman next to her in mandarin and ignored what I said, gave me the receipt and left. Idk why management is hiring and keeping people like her who lack common courtesy. I won’t be going there again.

Australia Post has consistently failed to deliver on even the most basic expectations of their service. For nearly a year, packages have never been delivered, even when someone is home to receive them. Instead of attempting delivery, they immediately put up a collection notification, seemingly out of sheer laziness. It’s as if they can’t be bothered to bring the parcel to the door. The service is practically non-existent, and it’s frustrating to pay for something that isn’t being provided. I might as well fly overseas, buy the item in person, and still get it faster than using Australia Post.

Zero stars.
Went this morning (Friday) to collect a parcel from the collection window (with a sign that says early collection 7:30-9am). Waited for half an hour...using the call button, knocking...only to be ignored by the person we could see was inside the entire time.
When I complained to Australia Post about this they told me there is no early collection 🙃 like there isn't an entire separate entry/window, sign and call button that says the exact opposite at the store.
My expectations of Au post are pretty low already, but being ignored for half an hr & then gaslit about it takes the cake guys.

Has to be the worst post office in Brisbane… huge lack of customer service, is never open, is rude and always busy because people have to leave work early to collect packages. I hate it when my things get delivered here. Wish I could opt out!
