It is literally the "Friendly Grocer" store in the shopping strip. It's not a post office. The packages are just left behind the counter on the floor.
They ask to see your tracking number that they can scan and then they ask for your ID. That's it.

This post office hasn't got enough space to store the parcel, customers are increasing but the capacity of shop is reducing. This can be concerned of important and expensive parcels.

I had an important document that was addressed to a medical professional at the Orthopaedic clinic at 11 Eccles Blvd in Birtinya. Because the envelope was not addressed to the right suite yet had the correct street number, the post man who delivers to the area was too lazy to use his initiative and take the envelope to the Doctor addressed on the envelope but instead took it back to the Wurtulla Post office where it sat for nearly 2 weeks. Because of his slackness, the document took over 2 weeks to finally be returned to me during a crucial time when the documents were needed for a surgical operation. Not good enough, whoever this postman is he needs to be a more intelligent about his deliveries especially when it is something that needs to be delivered to a doctor. Simon Bland
