Waited 40mins without being seen, walked out went next door to another service provider and was attended to within 5 minutes. The person in attendance at this branch was incredibly slow, did not acknowledge the full waiting room at all and took 5 to 10 minutes in between clients before calling the next person. It appeared to be deliberate “slow down” behaviour. He needs management supervision. It was a complete waste of time waiting and I won’t return to that branch again

There was an older woman there called peace or hope and I was profiled immediately upon the service that I was requiring. This is a common barrier for most people accessing health services. I needed a drug test upon advice from my psychiatrist and during the drug test I accidentally dropped the lid of the specimen jar. The woman immediately flung open the door with my pants half down in a public room where any staff member could’ve walked in and seen me half naked and exclaimed at me “” what are you doing? ““ I calmly responded. I dropped the specimen lid by accident.“” I was shocked and she had no sense of shame or even second thought About what she was doing. Furthermore, she didn’t give me proper instructions for the test. She gave me a second jar which I used And then I flushed the Toilet. She flung open the door again and exclaimed to me “” You’re not supposed to flush the toilet!” I was very scared at this point because she never actually told me not to flush the toilet which I told her. She looked at me with realisation as she remembered that she only told me not to touch anything and had failed to let me know that I was not allowed to flush the toilet. Honestly, it was violating and I went home and I cried. If I had any ounce of energy left after that traumatic experience, I would have filed an official complaint against her. I hope she gets let go and she can find a job in a prison because the way I was profiled and treated was synonymous with that environment. Just because someone’s doing a drug test doesn’t mean that I’m smuggling urine. My clothes were entirely checked which I have no problem with but I was wearing leggings and a sport bra so it was obvious that I was unable to smuggle anything not that I would ever try. I’ve never had any legal history with drugs ever And was following the advice of my psychiatrist. I hope no one ever gets treated like I was treated Because unfortunately, I remember this experience the rest of my life. Happened on Tuesday 9th July

Waited a hour just to finally be told I wouldn’t be seen, two people came out saying the pathologist couldn’t find their vains, one lady in tears, when the manager came out she was already highly strung and agressive towards a lady and her elderly mother. The manager is incompetent and should learn how to speak to people, she obviously has an attitude problem. People gain access to this service usually because they have some sort of medical issue people especially the elderly should be treated with respect and compassion.

Used this service together with GP on Beaufort. There are consistently long wait times but the handling of blood test results is unprofessional. Results were on a number of occasions not uploaded to the my health record and take several calls to get them. You will be told you can get your test results from the reception for a $25 fee - which may explain the reluctance to upload them. Use a different collection centre.

Average customer service and care until my recent awful experience. I've never had any problems with the routine lab procedures done here but was recently turned away after two attempts at trying to take blood from me - once in each arm. I left with my lab request form, cotton wool taped on both inner elbows and told to 'try again another day' with not much more than a 'sorry' and advice how to have better veins next time. The phlebotomist didn't manage to draw blood from the two veins she tried and said the others were 'no good'. After the second failed attempt which I'd correctly suspected would also be quite painful given how close it was to my inner elbow - but didn't say anything, I left feeling demoralised that I'll need to fast overnight then try again. I'm feeling even less motivated to rearrange my commitments for attempt number two, other than not being able to go ahead with medical treatment I need until my blood work is done.

Absolutely unprofessional and rude.
Asked for a cup of water and was met with a dumbfounded look and dumber answer of "what are you going to do with it?", it's a piss test I'm going to drink it so that I can pass?
Then when relayed information directed by my company, they refuse to do the test or direct me to partnering clinics to do so.

I can see why they are reviewed so low.

Very poor customer service. You enter and ring and wait and the staff ignores the full waiting room. Walking by and avoiding to look at the people waiting when there is obviously nobody in the collection rooms. I understand that the staff might have other tasks too, but at least an acknowledgement and some information that we need to wait or how much we would need to wait would be appropriate.

Arrived for a fasting glucose tolerance test at 8.30 (had made appt). Waited 20 mins to be seen, no one else was waiting at that time nor had anyone gone through.
Finally at 8.55 the phlebotomist came out and informed me no appt was made and that i couldnt do the test. This is so frustrating and upsetting - was the only day I could possibly do it and had specifically made an appointment. The staff member was incredibly rude and no understanding
