Back in July 2022 I had taken my car in for a service which went great to start with however, 10 weeks later the sump plug had fallen out along Kwinana Freeway and caused severe damage to the engine.
When I confronted them in regards to this being repaired, I was accused of tampering with the car but they agreed to have it fixed anyway.
The car was not in a state that it could be driven as the engine had seized. It was sent on a tow truck from High Wycombe to Autobahn's premise in Armadale.
They took it ( supposedly ) to Hyundai Cockburn for repair as the job was too much for them to handle. 24 hours later I received a phone call from the manager at Autobahn Armadale saying that my car had caught fire whilst been driven and the driver then drove another 10 minutes off the freeway along St Albans Rd Baldivis and parked out front of a garden center, instead of pulling over into the emergency lane along the freeway when the fire first started.
The car was found burnt out alongside of a sea container within the grounds of the garden centre hidden from street view ( photos attached ). They tried blaming Hyundai for this.
My insurance company deemed it a right off and I was charged the excess even thou this was not my fault.
I would not recommend Autobahn Armadale simply because of the lack of responsibly and duty of care taken for an issue caused by them to start with, which resulted with me losing my car.
The reason I am posting this now after all this time is simply that others told me that there was nothing I could do about this and to let it go. However it's bugged me all this time.
Their negligence and lack of accountability should not go noted and I don't want this happening to anyone else.

First overall experience was great, car was serviced on time and the guys were great to talk to.
However the second experience not so much. I dropped my car off Thursday and was told it would be done Friday. Rang up Friday arvo as I had not heard from them, got told it would be Monday. Rang up Monday as I had not heard from them, got told the guy was on lunch and would ring me back. Heard nothing. Rang up on Tuesday and received the all good. Since I was working I had no way of picking it up. So a relative was going to get it for me.
When they arrived at the store to collect my vehicle, they were met with rude and disrespectful behaviour from the man behind the counter.
I understand something had occurred which ultimately left them short staffed, but the communication was extremely poor and the lip from the bloke behind the counter was not called for. I know it was a two day job mate. I dropped it off Thursday, picked it up Tuesday. How many days is that?

Have had my cars looked after by the team here, impressed with the level of care they have. Great business ethics, they care more to serve and help their clients, not only money focus and try to rip you off like other places. Thanks guys, keep up the good work.

Walked in after a brief phone call the previous day with my break and tails lights needing to be sorted. It was quite busy but was in and out under an hour and all complimentary. I am really grateful. Also noted the professionalism and outstanding customer service to other clients as well. Keep up the great work . Will be back and I will be paying 🤭

I have been an Armadale Autobahn customer for many years;firstly as an Armadale resident,then later still preferring ⁹to take my cars to them when I moved back to the Wheatbelt. I had also recommended them to all my friends and mainly to my daughter Shelby with her car 🧡 All the guys are very friendly and respectful,making us women drivers feel relaxed and less incompetent. Our cars are also washed and vacuumed free of charge!! And their mechanical expertise is second to none. It's like taking your car to a day spa with the works 💪 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 Cheers and Happy Straya Day ppls 🇦🇺
