Excellent product support. I purchased an Electric Opener unit and had some minor issues getting it to work. The technical support helped me through that efficiently and effectively.

Not a great experience to be honest. A repeat customer. Motor of 9yrs service packed it in. Decided not to muck around and purchase an exact replacement, + new power filter / Surge protector + new photo cells. $2300.00 all up. Motor didn't work out of the box on 240v. Would only work on battery back-up. My electrician charged me an extra $200 for trouble shooting but confirmed it was the motor. At this stage I lost trust and faith. Yes I could have returned the unit and had them test it in the shop but I chose to have the technician see the unit as installed. Confirmed the control board is faulty. Replaced under warranty - but confirmed that TAU the manufacturer does not test every motor out of the factory nor do Automatic Solutions test every motor before sale!.. Automatic Solutions still charged me the technical call out fee at a discount, but could have easily turned this review from a 1 star to a 5. Missed opportunity.

Technician confirmed installation was done correctly as per attached. I only use certified trades.

This company is nothing but trouble. I visit the store, ask for a solar system to run my sliding driveway gate. I provide photos of the gate. It is on a track and level. The system worked fine in summer.
In winter, however, it does not.
I received a questionnaire requiring me to test the battery, provide photos and jump through hoops. All completed. With photos of the the multimeter attached to it and the read out. Testing shows the battery is not charging to it’s supposed capacity.
Still nothing helpful from this company. Just more requests. Such as pay them an exorbitant fee to come and look at it.
I contact other companies, provide the receipt and photos, and they are baffled as to why you sold me a system that was not able to do the job. After numerous emails the company refused the return of the battery and solar panel for refund OR to supply an appropriate system with a larger capacity and I’ll pay the difference.
Go elsewhere. This company is only interested in your money.
I then stated I would post a poor review.

Be aware that like all responsible companies all reviews are vetted by a legal firm that specialises in that they are fair and contain accurate information.

Don’t wish it to be costly for you.

Having read your response to this post, again you are blaming everyone but you.
The system design was by YOU! Again, I came into your store, spoke with your representative and showed pictures of the location, gate, track. You recommended the system. No one else. An electrician installed it. I don’t know who . Cash. Off the internet. He didn’t design it. Just put it in. The solar panel faces due north. Lots of sun. Simple. What was he supposed to do? It worked…...in summer. The problem is you sold me a system not fit for purpose. Too small!
I suggested the option of upgrading the system for a fair price. Of course I would have paid the difference! But I will not pay for you to come out here to tell me I need a bigger system than the one YOU DESIGNED.
I have taken your advice and contacted both the ACCC and consumer affairs. Any decent gate installer instantly says the system is too small! I supplied you with an email from a reputable company stating just that!
By the way, I found the business card of the electrician.
Still no result from thes scammers.
