Avani Hair is such a cute little gem on Fitzgerald Street! It’s one of those places you wouldn’t stumble upon unless you were looking for it. I appreciate all the time and effort that went into my hair and feel awful that I did not like my hair. Overall I paid $250 to have my hair dyed and was still charged $50 to have the bleach washed out of my hair (I did not want a blow dry and was not given one but was charged anyway, I would have assumed having the bleach washed out would be included) but that's all besides the point. When I got home and dried my own hair I was in shock, it was almost the opposite of what I had asked for, and objectively looked worse than it did that morning. It was uneven, made all the bad things worse, and took away all the things I liked, the sort of hair you would notice in public as being a bad home dye job. I had been so careful to keep my hair healthy, but my hair is now damaged and my curl pattern is too (I know that's what happens when you bleach your hair, but far more than what I wanted should have done). I was freaking out wishing I could turn back time, miss the appointment and have paid the down-payment to keep the hair I had. The next morning I went and paid to have my hair fixed by another hairdresser and although they did a great job and I am no longer contemplating shaving my head and can look at myself in the mirror, money won't bring back the health of my hair or my curl pattern. This was my first time going to a hairdresser to have my hair dyed so I was very specific at what I wanted and was so hopeful, but I think I will remember this experience for the rest of my life. Truly, I am sorry I did not like it, I don't want to get anyone in trouble, hold no ill will and am not one to make a fuss. I wish I could turn back time and have never gone here and I'm trying to be nice but I feel like I have been screwed.

I recently visited Avani to get hair extensions, I was extremely happy with my experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the friendly staff who immediately put me at ease. The salon itself is modern, homely, and well-maintained, making for a comfortable atmosphere.

The hairstylist who worked with me was incredibly skilled and attentive, taking the time to understand my hair type and offering helpful suggestions on which type of hair extensions would work best for me. She was patient and meticulous during the entire process, ensuring that the extensions were placed perfectly. The final result was stunning – my hair looked natural, voluminous, and absolutely gorgeous after the blow dry.

What I loved most about Avani was the amazing massage and wash basins and the wash, I was so relaxed I almost fell asleep.

Overall, I highly recommend Avani for anyone looking for their new hair home

Amazing, friendly, professional salon. As soon as you walk through the door you feel at home. My hair has never been in better condition and I always leave feeling beautiful. The staff are so kind and helpful and always go above and beyond for their clients. Extremely incredible, luxurious quality of hair extensions. I will never go anywhere else.
