I stayed for two nights, wish it was longer. It is in a great location, not too far from Cairns. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything needed for a comfortable stay. I definitely recommend staying here.

Fabulous art deco accomodation. Lovingly restored and updated. Would recommend the stairs are a workout though. Great location and a great place to breathe out. Interesting art works and decor. Great spots to sit outside and admit the gardens and views

Gorgeous rooms which were comfortable, artistic and offered everything one needed for a short stay. The manager was warm and accommodating. I would not hesitate to book again!

An excellent place voor a few days. Nice rooms, pretty decorated, clean property, nice veranda tonsil and read a book at the end of the day. Beautiful garden.
We booked one night and ended up staying for four, it was so peaceful and quiet. And enough to see in the surroundings.
It’s in an old nursery home, nicely renovated.

This is a delightful place, the old nurses home, so friendly and informal, ideal for all types of guest. We went as a couple in our 70's, with our daughter and two grandchildren. We upgraded to the Doctors Quarters to enjoy something special on our anniversary. Gary, the manager, Kim the owner, and everyone else had time to talk to us and make the stay more enjoyable. We found it very comfortable, and good value. Babinda is a good place to stay: a great bakery, Italian restaurant, and beautiful swimming pool. Plus The Boulders.

We decided to visit the Babinda Harvest Festival and stay there the night before. We were lucky to make a late booking at the Doctor’s Apartment in this great guest house. Reasonably priced, the apartment has a great retro vibe with a lovely bedroom, comfy lounge, bathroom and kitchenette. The king bed is very good and the place is well equipped with everything you might need, including Netflix. You’re surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens and there’s a secret back entrance for unloading your car if the front steps are too steep. Something really different for a weekend away…use as a base for exploring the town ( don’t miss the cream buns at the famous Bakery!) and the Babinda Boulders. Recommended!
