Incredible tasty Biltong (we always get the type with fat!). Super friendly store owner too, we always feel welcomed and happy visiting this store. Would recommend to any and all interested in South African foods, especially Biltong! The best in Brisbane!

Great little shop tucked away but worth the trip. Fantastic prices on South African produce and the biltong and all the cured meats are second to none. So fresh. Cut for you...on the spot.
Fresh cuts of meat available, the price is very very good.
SA sweets and condiments..real, proper hard fudge.

An awesome butcher and part of the southside community! Baie Lekker Butcher is a hole-in-the-wall South African butcher - stocks a range of imported SA products, from spices and lollies to packaged cold meats (for example traditional droewors sausage).

The owner is a very friendly gentleman also.

Best biltong / dried sausage in town. Honestly he's worth visiting for this alone!

Photo attached is a few pieces of his "fatty / medium" periperi biltong. His biltong goes from lean - fatty and dry - wet. You can choose and combination!

We travel from the Gold Coast for their product. At request spicy non spicy thick or thin fatty or lean this shop will work around your needs and wants. The Jerky is succulent a d melts in your mouth.. flavorsome of meat not of additives. Highly recommend and have been a customer for 11 years.

Excellent products, we keep coming back for the Boerewors sausages, they are top quality, made with freshly ground spices, a old family recipe and soo delicious. The owners are lovely people and provide excellent customer service.

A couple of days ago was the first time (and last time) I bought biltong & droë wors at this shop. As a South African, who has bought biltong & droë wors from various places in Brisbane, I am sorry to say that this was very disappointing. Taste too much as if some preservatives have been added and a lack of the correct spices. Remind me of the beef jerky you can buy in the airtight packets in supermarkets. My honest opinion is that you need to review your recipes and processes.

Lived in Tingalpa for 10 years before I tried this place now I'm addicted. Wish I tried it sooner. Been going there nearly every week for the past 2 years. I'm not South African so I don't know what everything is called but I have been a huge fan of the biltong and the cabanossi but now I've discovered the round sausage stuff and can't stop thinking about it! Everything is superb quality too.
