Saw this centre while driving past and was drawn in by the carnivorous plant sale sign. Could not be more glad that I stopped in - I love this place. The walk through the bamboo forest did something to me. It was so tranquil and I stepped out feeling refreshed in a way I never expected
. Felt so calm and connected to nature I didn't even think of pulling out my phone for a photo. I'll come back here in future when I need to clear my head. Plant selection was also amazing - all healthy and luscious with great prices.

Had a great experience with this place. Lovely grounds and the delivery was prompt. Photo 1 the day we got it, then 16 months later, and the last photo is after 20 months . Just keeping the top trimmed and I have put a green cord around the middle to keep its tight upright shape. Keep the water on regularly as things heat up and it really flourishes. I have put in a cheap small sprinkler in the pot attached to a timer to give it a 4 minute daily water over summer. This has made is really fill out and kept the leaf drop down.

What a wonderful experience. We spent hours walking through the Bamboo Gardens and Forest. Lots of inspirational messages along the trail. Wonderful Bamboo Tunnel, labyrinth and meditation garden. So many varieties of bamboo plus lots and lots of other interesting plants. Great advice offered by friendly staff. We will be back.

Visited here on a whim last Monday, was not expecting it to be so beautiful. Lovely peaceful garden displaying all the different types of bamboo they have on offer and all of the plants they had for sale looked very healthy. There were so many different bamboo species that you definitely wouldn't see anywhere else, and the staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. If you're looking to get some bamboo for your home I'd definitely go for a visit and they will be able to help you select the perfect type of bamboo for your needs.
Even if you're not in the market for bamboo they had heaps of other types of plants on offer, a gift shop and other gardening items.
I'll be making a trip back soon hopefully to get some more plants and explore the maze and other things they have on offer.
Excellent customer service, wonderful scenery, will definitely be coming back with an empty car!

Thankyou for your delayed response;
1. The elderly couples back paddock adjoins the Bamboo Down Under Business & this paddock & fence line are covered with bamboo debris, surely this is part of Bamboo Down Under Business.
2. Bamboo Down Under owns (hence they are the Landlords) the house next door to the elderly couple.
Bamboo Down Under's next door neighbours are in their late 80's & the xmas cyclone caused alot of damage. I have continually contacted this business to please come & remove the debris that is breaking fences & remove all the bamboo on the elderly couples land. No response.

We had fabulous knowledge and service when we visited this bamboo centre recently. There was an excellent display of bamboo so you know what you’re in for depending on what you require. Our girls had fun walking through the different types. I also found two fabulous Fiddle Leaf plants that I’ve been needing.
Glenn (pretty sure his name.. he was American) was so kind and so helpful!! Mozzies are present so pack some
Repellent if you’re heading off for a good look to avoid the discomfort of them.
We ordered 12 plants and mushroom compost and it was delivered to Brisbane South next available business day. The delivery guy was also kind and helpful! Would def recommend a visit. We planted our plants around 2 weeks ago and they’re going strong and loving the mushroom compost. We’ve already noticed their increase in height to screen against a horrid neighbour built to boundary. Can’t wait for them to get tall and just see green 🥰.

Helpful advice - nice range. Love the full grown displays so you can evaluate which bamboo best suits your needs. We have returned several times and made purchases. Our bamboo has grown well in a more difficult climate after following their recommendations. We are happy to make a daytrip just to drive here as we live almost 300kms away

Up for the weekend, my mother suggested we visit the bamboo place: we almost missed the turn but found our way into the car park and found a majestic garden of wonderment and discovery! The tall mature bamboo was soft to touch, smooth and at the shedding of sheath stage of season.
The fun of the maze, creeping corners and keeping quiet I successfully scared my mother! While swinging on the garden chair admiring the Japanese style garden, my mother trying to capture the teepee bamboo photo fell backwards into a water feature and with no damage to herself or the structures we laughed and found a walkway of tall bamboo. We both laying down, quietly, listening to the creaking sounds as the wind blows. As the time upon us was slipping away we move down into a room of jungle plants that for the size and prices were impressive! Touching and admiring plants along the journey to be respectfully honest about why my mum has a wet bum! Good chats and great easy going attitude, the staff are fantastic! A reminder for everyone, watch your step and beware of water features while doing photography!!
