I went to Baratto winery with a new flat-mate and we had the best time. Peter was welcoming and absolute lovely. What we thought would be a quick 5 minutes of tasting turned into an hour as even though he had been exceptionally busy during vintage season and working around the clock he gave us attention which was exceptional. My flat-mate is currently doing work experience in a local winery and he was able to share his knowledge with her but made it easy for me to understand and appreciate the complexities that wine making offers. Peter opened many bottles for us to try and we brought wine. My favourites and purchases were: Durif Limited Release, Sauvignon Blanc, Petit Verdot. They were all exceptionally reasonably priced.
