I just picked up some biltong at the city2surf expo this morning...
I'm extremely impressed with the quality of this meat. I've previously purchased biltong online from various companies.
What I like is the moisture, the flavour is tasty, the packaging is clear.
Also the guy at the expo , I didn't get your name. I passed that message on if you want to have a hit at moorepark.

I purchased a mix of the 70gm Biltong packs to gift to friends originally from Zimbabwe who make their own.

Our family favourite. Best way to get meat into the kids and keep a healthy diet. Kids rather this than a packet of lollies. Thinly sliced, moist, delicious fat filled with b vitamins. Glorious. We discovered Barbell at ALDI, now we've had it shipped to the house.

This product is more than organic, it’s juicy and succulent. The flavour of the meat enriched by its seasoning!
I’ve been accustomed to smoked beef jerky by other companies; air dried was a whole new experience.
These smoked products by other companies tend to have lots of artificial flavour and colouring added, but not these juicy snacks by Barbell foods!
The juiciness of the air dried steak range led me on a culinary experiment. I have only had the privilege so far to experiment with heating up the Spicy beef biltong, using either the microwave for 10 seconds to sizzle up a handful, or frying them up in their own juices.
Making them sizzle adds that warm crispy feeling, a great alternative to bacon if you cannot eat pork!

I couldn’t pull off a majestic photo of the product with the outback as the back drop or an iconic monument. I was too eager to dive into the food, so these are the best photos I could pull off so far.

I got some biltong from barbell at some craft market my missus dragged me to and man I was so happy to see them. All I wanted was some biltong and thankfully they were there amongst all the dog coats and mugs and stuff. Such delicious biltong.. I've now gone to their website and bought like a massive amount of it because the chilli biltong was so good. I buy a lot of it and this was some of the best I've ever had. Highly recommend!
