After a long days travel we arrived at the Barcly Homestead. We grabbed fuel and booked a room for the night. The room was nice, clean and modern with lots of hot water and a good bed. Dinner was lovely. Big meals and well cooked and presented. The staff was lovely with one young Irish lass exceptionally bubbly and wonderful with the patrons. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️?

This place a breath of fresh air, being a younger family touring around Australia not knowing what we were in for with the NT this was a really amazing place to stop at and have a break. The staff were lovely, the place was so tidy and the food was great. Only downside is we thought that because this was our first stop on the NT we thought there would be more places like this ? we were wrong.

What a beautiful and impressive oasis in the outback. The food did not disappoint and the service was amazing. The caravan park was immaculate with plenty of space. This would out do some of the popular places we've stayed on the coast. Would definitely recommend this place and come back.

An amazing place to visit out in the middle of nowhere! |The homestead is immaculate and staff are always cleaning! The cabins are comfortable and very clean! The treat their own water so you can drink it! |The also make their own power! |The staff are all lovely people! ||They have motel rooms|Cabins|Camping and caravan park! ||We will stay again! |It is a 10 out of 10 for us!

Great place to rest after a long drive! Toilets/ showers clearly upgraded, can’t comment on camp kitchen as we ate at the bistro, pool could’ve done with a clean but was a nice cool off in the heat, bistro was well air conditioned, food and drinks were good, unfortunately we didn’t sleep great due to the wind exposure in the unpowered campground, not sure much can be done about that though.

Very nice place to stay overnight, good food and friendly staff.
We stayed in fairly new room, comfortable bed, nice and clean. Bathroom looks great but not practical, shower door doesn’t seal and make floor completely wet.
Also, the shop and restaurant have been renovated, very nice flowers everywhere.

We have almost completed The Lap and I would rate this establishment as the best in Australia. Despite its remote location, the caravan facilites are first class, the roadhouse for fuel is spacious, and the restaurant has fantastic first class meals. The seafood chowder, and steak, were amazing! Deserves more than an overnight stop!

Loved staying here! Beautiful place, food and drinks were great (great price too) and staff friendly. A perfect oasis in the middle of nowhere
