New to Gladstone, been searching for butchers and this one did not disappoint. huge range and really good prices. I will suss out the other butcher's but this style butcher is up my alley for the bulk due to the range of meats.

I went to Barney Point Butchers on the 06/07/23. Bought 4 slices, amounting to 1.386 of Rump Steak at $28.99. $40.20. Thought it would be of a better quality than the Supermarket. Shop assistant assured me it was grain fed and would be beautiful. It was disgusting. The pieces were full of gristle and sooo tough I could not eat it. It ended up in the bin. The remainder had to be bashed, gristle trimmed and marinated.

THE BEST BUTCHER EVER PREMIUM QUALITY MEAT !!!!!!!!
Great service, the staff were flat out busy and still managed to trim a cut of pork up to fit in my slow cooker. And also a real credit to the primary producers, I'm cutting my rump steak with a butter knife soooo tender beautifully marbled and full of flavour. Thanks Barney Point Butchery.

The lambchops we bought were tasty but unevenly cut and very fatty. The beef stirfy was okay, if lacking flavour. And the gourmet sausages were like eating a bag of salt.
