I have been to Barrel Farm a number of times since they opened and each time have had great experiences. This includes two Christmas work wind-ups as well as catch-ups with groups of friends from 2 to 10 people. We have always been welcomed by the friendly staff on arrival and on the occasions we didn't have a booking, we were accommodated without issue, even though they have been fairly busy each time we have been there.
The food is of a consistently high standard, the grazing platters are really great value if you are open to sharing!
The drinks are really good too - Yilgarnia Wines and their own Barrel Farm beers, and they offer tasting paddles for both. They also have delicious craft sodas, which I appreciate if I am the sober driver!
The venue is just gorgeous and the outlook is stunning, very relaxing. They have a great play area for children (even a footy oval for the bigger kids!) and they are dog friendly.
I think it's so great that Albany now has a venue like this, and I recommend it to everyone!

Pretty nice spot, dont get panicked by the line of parked vehicle's they got enough seating to accommodate you all👍. Tried marron,lamp rump,pasta and some desserts as well. Taste is quite average. Kids will really enjoy this place got enough space to run around. Little getaway within Albany.staff are very friendly and welcoming even though the place is more than busy.

Lovely place to come, beautiful views, clean and well presented. The staff were friendly and seemed quite happy. It was good to bring family here.
My favourite part is the playground, easy to view from inside and good quality equipment for the kids. I'd only put a semi solid shade sail over it for the sunny days, otherwise the whole experience was great.
We decided to share and bought the platters. It was excellent value for money, whoever cooked the lamb knows his stuff. Thanks for a lovely day!

The beer is great and the brewery is 4 months old as at March 2025, and so does not pop up in searches enough.

They have a good selection of styles and a great environment for everyone to enjoy. A must visit for any beer lover.

Wow fantastic venue and food- great service from Holly and Andy. Everything is made in house which is unbelievable, can’t fault the food and was full by the end of the meal. Wonderful for kids,can’t wait to see this business grow in the future. Great for people visiting and the town- thanks 🤩

Amazing, I have worked in the industry for 30 years in Albany and Australia. I found the service excellent, I had booked a table at a Saturday at 12 and was seated promptly with our first drinks arriving from there quickly. Friendly and attentive service without being encroaching, which is ideal!!!!! And the food!!!!!! Perfect!!! Absolutely nailing it!!! As it reads from a menu, simple, created with love of the process and accompanied by what it should, instead of a complicated array of colours and flavours that don't meet expectations. Myself and my lovely wife ordered what we wanted and got exactly that!!!!. Food that was thought about and decadent in flavour and service that was prompt and measured. Well done to Holly and Paolo and the team at Barrel Farm.

We had a wonderful lunch at Barrel Farm on Saturday. The setting is beautiful, the food was amazing and the playground keeps the little ones occupied. Me and my partner shared the lamb platter which was so tasty and more than enough for 2 people. We were so full afterwards. My other family members all enjoyed their meals too.

We’re very lucky to have such a lovely venue open in Albany. We’ll be back again.
