Barrier Reef Pools 5 star experience from start to finish. We didn't have to worry about anything. Communication was great always informative about the upcoming process, staff are so helpful and friendly. All and all really made our experience stress free and enjoyable. I would most definitely recommend Barrier Reef for your pool installation. These things can become so stressful and overwhelming but not once did we feel that way. Outstanding Experience with Barrier Reef Pools!

From start to finish, our experience with Barrier Reef Pools was nothing short of exceptional. It all began with Alen Krcmar, our sales consultant, who took the time to explain every detail thoroughly. He was incredibly patient with our many questions and worked hard to bring our installation date forward—something we truly appreciated. Alen also connected us with reliable professionals for site clearing, paving, and fencing, all of whom were experienced and delivered top-quality results.

Sharon from the office was an absolute gem—always kind, helpful, and eager to clarify any concerns we had along the way. When it was time to move forward, we were introduced to Luke James, our site supervisor. Luke was extremely responsive, punctual, and meticulous in overseeing the project, ensuring everything ran smoothly.

The excavation was handled by Nick, Darren, and Chris, and these guys were nothing short of legends! They went the extra mile to keep everything on schedule, demonstrating their expertise and dedication to the job. Then came Mark and Chad, who installed our pool—and what a team they were! Their energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism made the process not only seamless but also entertaining. They worked with precision and had our pool installed well within Barrier Reef Pools’ high standards—all while keeping the mood light with smiles and even a bit of dancing!

The entire dig and install process was completed within just two days, which was truly impressive. Thanks to their efficiency, we were swimming in no time! Finally, Mark from Golden Pools handled our handover, and he was fantastic, ensuring we understood every aspect of maintaining our new pool.

From the onset the team at BRP have been excellent, and when questions were asked always returned our calls in a timely manner. From the onset, we worked with the sales team (Alen) and everyone in the office were courteous, and nothing was too much trouble, and we did change our mind a lot when it came to making selections of pool, colour and equipment, but these issues were always handled in a most friendly and helpful manner. The Installation went like a dream and was completed with the minimum of fuss in a very rural off-road area. Luke and his team were first class. As our house build has taken some time, the pool could not be commissioned for nearly 18 months, but once again Luke’s team did a first-class job, even though they had to return several times, due to errors caused by other trades not associated with the BRP’s pool build. Luke, though an extremely busy man, would always get back to you and, spend ages on the phone talking through those initial teething problems of a new pool, system and dumb owner! Finally, the associated trades, recommended for fencing etc, were good and worked extremely well alongside the team at BRP. I would Highly recommend BRP Joondalup to anyone who wishes to get a new pool.

Very happy with the entire process from helping us choose the right pool, facilitating a last minute change to the pool, recommendations of contractors to use for site preparation, installation and handover. Good attention to delay, pride in the work done and tidy cleanup at the end of each day. Would highly recommend Barrier Reef to family and friends.

I have recently installed a 5x3m pool and spa with Barrier Reef Pools and would like to say a big thank you for their knowledge and expertise and their understanding being a first-time pool owner.
Thanks to Steve Nenar from the initial consultation to the onsite instillation with Luke and the team everything was spot on right up to handover. Not to forget Tara and Sharon in the office doing a great job with all the background work, that is needed.

We bought the most expensive pool from Barrier reef pools, and it has been the worst experience as a consumer from beginning to end.

They failed to install the pool according to the engineering requirements they identified we needed for a pool that size in our land. It moved within months. They backfilled it and made it even more uneven. Higher in some parts and completely hollow underneath in others. Luke the owner, told us for two years he would fix it and we stupidly believed him.

Recently I found a man representing him, trespassing on our property inside our pool area. Luke lied and said he was sent by a SPASA representative who was going to help. SPASA confirmed this is not the truth.

We have spent over $250k on the pool, the enormous area around it, the fencing etc and now we are left no choice than to take them to the building commission because it’s become clear we have been absolutely taken advantage of.

We have waited two years. The pump has broken countless times, the pool is visibly diagonal. We are completely heartbroken.

The worst thing is that we did this as a gift for ourselves after I survived an extremely violent crime and the offender was imprisoned. It was for our family to use and have fun recovering in.

It has been a nightmare. If this company has ANY integrity or customer care, they will turn up and reinstall our pool. We paid for something we have not recieved. Anyone half decent would ensure we didn’t go through further stress in court.

Please, do not trust these people - they have destroyed our dream pool. I cry when I look outside because of the hatchet job that has occurred. Both our Council and their engineer couldn’t believe it. His engineer said we should sue. We were going to work with them, but since he got caught lying he’s not got the decency to even respond.

Look at the water line against different edges of this ludicrously expensive pool, that Luke admitted was NOT installed to the engineering specs they submitted to council. I hope they step up, I wouldn’t wish this on anyone! Ruler in pics follows a string line, and arrows point to water line. Which is obviously level.

The pool, is missing another 10cm of concrete needed around the edge, the drainage in barrier reef’s engineering drawings and any kind of ground prep and back filling. It’s like a cheap trampoline.
