I’m so glad we stopped into Bartholomews Meadery when we saw the sign. We sampled (and purchased) flavoured honeys and meads. I also bought a honey ice-cream. Everything was super yummy.

Beautiful honey shop with honey tasting available. We loved the chilli honey and the strawberry cream honey. Highly recommend the ice cream from there too.

The location is great. There was a big crowd when we visited. The ice cream and honey range was really good. Totally recommend it. However, the mead wine selection was average. We bought the Berry mead as we really wanted to taste one during our holiday. Overall, it was a nice experience.

I have never had mead before hence I was really looking forward to visit this meadery! It was a pleasant drive to Bartholomew's and the place was quite easy to find. The charming cottage houses a variety of merchandise, which includes the mead and a number of items related to bees and honey. They also sell ice cream, and it was so delicious (not as sweet as I feared). We tasted all the mead and ended up getting a few bottles. I think they would be perfect as dessert wines. The cottage is surrounded by trees, and on a warm, sunny day, it is pure bliss to sit outside under the shade and eat ice cream. You can also get a close look the bee colony, and we had fun trying to spot the queen. There was a steady stream of visitors coming and going as we sat there enjoying our ice cream. Parking space is abundant here!

Everytime I go south I always make a visit here.
They have huge variety of honey and products related to honey. I should mention the ice cream! Please come and try their ice cream!
I also love to bring home their honey wine, to enjoy during this cold season.
And the owner is lovely, you can ask about honey that will fit your needs.

Delicious!!!! Even in winter! The scoops are generous and really worth the price for homemade ice cream. Yummy. My faves were the hazelnut and salted ice cream. They're all really good though and the free honey tasting offers a great variety.

Yummy honey place in a small homely little cottage.
It has very interesting varieties of honey such as chai, vanilla bean, turmeric, chilli, chocolate, ginger, creamed, black sesame, cinnamon and smoked. Definitely would recommend getting the smoked honey as it is very unusual.
They also have the normal range of honey such as wildflower (recommend).
Tried the honeycomb ice cream which was delicious and a must try!
Limited seating outside but nice place to take pictures.
Staff were friendly and great! They also sell other merchandise such as honey mead or candles.
Plenty of parking!
