So many delays! House was still being worked on during handover. Alfresco shower head leaking on handover. Building supervisor came to do a quick fix & I have been emailing Bask homes for over 1.5 years for defects to be fixed but they are not responding to emails. Paid for upgraded bathroom & the supervisor didn’t tell the tiler. The tiler had to come back and put more tiles in & now they don’t line up. Dodgy workmanship. My ceiling is cracking.
Door handles keep falling off the doors. The 13K air con unit was placed on the side of the house and I had to get them to relocate it to the back of the house as per building plans. Now the air con in the roof makes a loud noise. Work was not getting checked off by the supervisor. The last email advised me that the contractors knew about the defects but no dates have been given on when the defects will be rectified. Paint work is below average. Cladding joints visible. When I complained they came back & patched it up now you can see patch spots in the paint work. No sealer around inside of window frames so all ants come into the house.

We recently completed our custom-built home with Bask Homes, and overall, we are extremely satisfied with the entire process. The build was finished 3 months earlier than anticipated, which was a huge bonus, and the project stayed on budget throughout. The quality of the construction was excellent, and we were impressed with how responsive the team was to any feedback we provided—rectifications were made promptly and to our satisfaction. The communication always prompt to any querries we had. While the communication was always professional, a more friendly and approachable tone in correspondence would help make the entire experience even more positive and enjoyable.

A special mention to Peter, who was consistently proactive and professional. He clearly cares about the product and the service he provides, always presenting himself in a well-mannered and professional way. Both Peter and Darren were flexible and accommodating of our needs since we opted for a custom design. They worked with us to ensure the home met our vision and specifications.

Overall, we are very happy with the result and would recommend Bask Homes to anyone looking to build their dream home. Great quality, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering on time and within budget!
